Hello, Does anyone use the Customer > Credit Infor > “allowed Overdue amount” or “Allowed overdue days” fields? Do these impact a customer orders going on credit block? I would have thought it was meant for that but it doesn’t appear to be. ie: we want to allow a customer order to be released if it’s wanted receipt date or value is within a certain number of days or amount of its outstanding invoices with these fields populated. Otherwise what are these fields used for? calculation of interest ? Thanks!

Is there a process to correct VAT tax included on a manual supplier invoice in error that is now in a PaidPosted status? The company is a UK company but the supplier invoice is in EUR and should not have had VAT 20% tax included. Is there a way to correct if the invoice is now already paid? Or is the best work around to enter a credit note and a new invoice without tax offsetting the two? Any guidance is appreciated!
Hello What do other customers do in IFS for recording stale dated cheques? We do not want to “void” the cheque, thus reopening the supplier invoice to be paid or canceled, as we want to just mark it as truly a cheque that was never cashed (so move the amount from cash gl account to another gl account for auditing purposes). IFS does not have the ability to change the status to “Stale Dated”. Wondered if anyone came up with a custom solution? Thank you!
In the prepare work order > requisition tab when you click New, the Requisitioner defaults the code found in the character and numeric value defaults. Is there a way to change it from “WO” to the user’s requisitioner id? ie: Is there a formula we can enter to make this dynamic? I tried &REQ_NAME but then it just shows that as the requisitioner id. I have shown users how to create a template with their id then default it as a workaround but was curious if there was a better option. IFS9 SP17
We are looking to implement Interest on overdue Customer invoices. The "Compound Interest" method on the Interest Template does not seem to mean what we would expect. Has anyone used Customer Interest templates and have any feedback? Thank you
Hello, Does anyone know of a way to cancel a Manual Voucher? Or if someone uploaded an external voucher to the GL that is not approved yet? I see no way of doing so, short of posting it and creating a reversal voucher, or in the case of a manual voucher, deleting all rows except 2 lines and doing a debit/credit to the same account/cost center. Just wanted to see if anyone had a trick for this. In version 9 they introduced this “Cancelled” status but doesn’t look like we can set a voucher to that. Thanks!
Does anyone know how to mass add a new Site in security to multiple users at once? I can’t see how but maybe I’m missing something simple. I know how you can mass add permission sets in the Grant permission set to user form, but can not find something similar for Site. Thanks!
When you have a customer order that is invoiced you get an entry M30 that also shows the quantity that was on the customer order. This entry is a negative amount for the M30 posting. Is it possible to configure the quantity to display as a negative as well to match the sign of the $ amount? for example:
Is there a way to create a payment term so a supplier invoice is due every Friday? ie: a specific day of the week vs date of the month? I can’t see it but thought I would ask!
Hello Does anyone know if you can change / correct preposting on a Manual Customer Invoice that has been saved/posted? Would be nice to have the link back to the original entry vs just doing a journal entry to move it between accounts to fix. Or canceling the invoice and re-inputting it.I can not see a way but just wanted to check. Thank you!
A user created a parked payment which we are now trying to correct and move it to a customers account. We have not used this feature before and not sure how to do this. Does anyone have experience with these transactions to provide guidance on how to accomplish this? We think she somehow created it by unmatching a payment she incorrectly entered. Mixed payment form right click canceled matching.Essentially we would like it all cancelled so it can be reentered however would settle for it being moved to the customer’s account.Thank you!

Does anyone know why this extra line called “Manufacturer No” would print on your embedded purchase order print out ? It just started happening for us for all Sites PO’s (all lines regardless if part or no part line) Thank you
We are trying to add a barcode for the work order number to print on the embedded work order copy. They look fine in the crystal report designer, but when viewing them in IFS, the barcode either shrinks to a size that is too small to scan or it disappears entirely, all depending on the font size used for the barcode in the crystal report. We tried a different barcode font to try and installed it on the Windows server. We restarted the server to ensure the font installed properly. We tried different things in the crystal report to try to make it work, but nothing worked. We have tested and we can successfully print and scan barcodes on a Quick Report. Therefore there is something about the process that IFS uses when exporting the embedded reports to PDF that is causing the barcode formatting problem Anyone have a similar issue? Apps 9
Does anyone use the Inventory Part > Planning Data set up for “Planning Method = B” order point to automatically reorder spare parts when the quantity goes below the order point? This seems to be working well except if a PO is created for a spare part reorder and the supplier has the part on back order so will be beyond the lead time, the job will keep recreating a new PO to order the part thinking it’s not in place. Aside from extending the lead time in the acquisition tab, which we do not want to do, is there another solution to prevent this from happening? We’ve tried confirming line with differences so we could change the date but the job still recreates a new PO. Thanks!
Hello, Does anyone know of set up for Payment Institute / Cash Accounts to restrict it’s use if supplier invoice currency doesn’t match the cash account currency? It seems in Apps9 it allows me to select a different currency cash account with no warnings / hard stops that it doesn’t match the currency of the invoice in the payment proposal. I’ve had a payable user not select from a list of values all fields in payment order pop up form, therefore they didn’t notice they picked the wrong one until after the checks were printed. I know I could create a custom event to perhaps stop this but just wondered if I’m missing something in set up? Thank you
Hello, We are looking to use the Bank Reconciliation process where we upload from our bank the cashed checks so we can mass “cash” them. Our daily files could be quite large. When we test this process and let’s say want to remove the bank statement due to an error, it’s telling us we need to unmatch each check first one at a time! This would be very time consuming! I remember testing this in version 7.5 and pretty positive I could just remove the whole thing without performing this function. Does anyone know of a way to remove the bank statement in version 9 without having to go to each line to unmatch? I may just be missing something in set up. Thank you in advance!
