I have created a custom event for a specific background job if it fails a stream message is sent to user to view the job. I also want user to transfer to background job details page to see the logs for the failures. For this I want to use below address. ifsapf:frmBackgroundJob?DATA_TRANSFER=%2F%2F4VAEQAZQBmAGUAcgByAGUAZABKAG8AYgAWABYAQwBSAEUAQQBUAEUAXwBXAEkATgBEAE8AVasdasdfasdfsdfadfADABgAasdfsdafdsA3ABYAGQA%3D&COMPANY=XXX However I am not sure how DATA_TRANSFER string is created by IFS. Below address does not work. ifsapf:frmBackgroundJob?JOB_ID=1232323&COMPANY=XXX Any idea how can this be achieved in APPS9?
I would like to use the same calendar (MAINT: Off on Saturdays and Sundays) for all maintenance organizations. It is used for both corrective maintenance and PM actions. However, there is an exception for preventive maintenance as the work is carried out according to a 24/7 calendar every day of the year. When I use a maintenance organization on a PM action and add a new calendar (MAINTPREV: 365/24/7) in the PM action trigger, the calendar of the maintenance organization takes precedence. The solution I found is to create dedicated maintenance organizations for PM actions with a MAINTPREV calendar. However, this is very cumbersome because there are more than 20 sites, and each site has 10 maintenance organizations.I am looking for a solution that uses only one calendar (MAINT) for all maintenance organizations but calculates the dates of PM lines according to a 365/24/7 calendar.
After the initial installation it appears that there are migration jobs (at least the interface headers) available. I'm not able to delete them as there is no detail available so they only confuse the customer.List is shown as follows:I gave myself update access to the job. When searching via the page Migration Job (so not Jobs), I don't see it. If I try to add it, IFS returns the error message that the interface already exists.Any idea how to get rid of these jobs?
A document revision is prepared. Once done, the actual document is connected to the IFS administrative part of the document. The document has been checked in. Status is preliminary. Up until now standard behavior. Document that is checked in, can be viewed. The document is stored in a FTP location using standard IFS settings (IFS9).Now that everyonne has seen the document, we want to set the status from Preliminary to Approved. RMB is used to set the status and then the following error message appears:I've used coding to determine the origin and it reveals that in DOC_ISSUE_API for an FTP stored file a check is done on the size of the file via Plsqlap_Server_API. Further into the details the actual error is a certificate problem. The FTP server has no certificates installed.See also: My question: in the setup of haveing an IFS application server and a FTP server are there anymore servers in between? Why does the system come back with a missing/non valid certificate while there has not
I have done some changes to the list of my work for mWO in the past. I made the changes in the context global (understood: discussable). Now I want to make another change and there is no content available:Three dots below Content show the Order by option, which has a grey > sign which means nothing there as well.I do have a page configuration that is published: I see the work done, in the past, in mWO. If I unpublish the global context I see the standard overview in mWO on the MyWork page.Anyone an idea why I don't see any content?
In Aurena I noticed that I get an error when the alpha value of a part contains a '?’.Any idea if there are any other characters that can't be used? Before:Now trying to insert a ? at the end of the attribure value and pressing Save:Is this truely programmed as such?
When using a custom layout of fields (in particular on a Custom Page), is it possible to control the layout (location and field size) in any way either via database or importable/exportable XML code in any way? Having to line up a lot of fields with the little arrow buttons is pretty time consuming to get fields to all line up and space evenly. I’m hoping there’s a way I can just input pixel values for size and location somehow?
Hi, I’m working with a customer on NCR’s and they want to prevent NCR’s from moving into Released status unless the NCR is connected to an object. I can up with this event action:And it works when an NCR isn’t connected to a Project. For example, the test NCR 120822-3 throws the error that I'm looking for when I try to release it: However, after connecting the NCR to a project:I get this error message: And I’m not really sure why. When I run my select statement in Oracle I can see that it’s evaluating to 1:So, right now I’m at a bit of a loss and I’m hoping someone can help me figure out how to get this over the finish line.
A customer of ours is working on an interface between their bespoke HR system and IFS. They have the insert of new employees from their system into IFS up and running. However when a change is done for first or last name of the person (the employee), the response is good (status 200 received), but it can't be seen in the employee file in IFS Cloud.Request is: Involved fields that should change: Although response seems good, customer doesn't see it (also not after refresh of screen).Anybody that encountered this as well (here or with another svc)?
