Aggregate Inventory Transactions per Period Error

Lead time defined in Inventory part (Acquisition tab ) is not considered when creating purchase orders

Hi @PoornimaM,As I remember if there is no primary supplier, the purchase requisition uses Purchase Leadtime from Inventory Part to calculate the latest order date. Purchase Leadtime is normally calculated in the Calculate Purchase Leadtime window. The Purchase Leadtime calculation is already explained by Lakmini and Enzo.If a purchase part has a primary supplier, the purchase requisition uses Internal Inspection Time and Manufacturing Leadtime from supplier for purchase part record and Leadtime and Internal Time from the supplier record, to calculate the latest order date. In this case, the Purchase Leadtime From Inventory Part/Acquisition will not be used for part 1008141 when calculating the Latest Order Date. Instead, you need to specify the lead times that are valid for this combination of supplier-site and supplier-purchase part. If you specify the internal and external transport time for the supplier and the site (Inventory/Supply Chain Parameters) and also inspection lead time

Impact of “Departure Route” on the calculation of earliest unlimited supply date.

Safety Leadtime and Expected Leadtime based on Workdays

Hi Jraush,I can answer part of your question. If you would like to work with calendar days, I propose you to use the ‘Earliest Unlimited Supply Date’ (on Inventory Part/Acquisition tab) instead of the Expected Lead time (on Inventory Part/Acquisition tab). The ‘Earliest Unlimited Supply Date’ can be calculated when you run or schedule the ‘Calculate Earliest Unlimited Supply Date’ job.Best Regards,Indika

Sales price list record being updated in multiple sites.

Hi Enzo,In the real business scenario we need sales prices for invoice purposes which are used when we set up an inter-site flow for a different company set up, I mean Demand site connect with company A and supply site connect with company B. Then Demand site engaged with internal customer and supply site engaged with internal supplier, so we create a price list in the supply site, and it sends to the demand site internal customer.But for the above issue is an inter-site PRICAT message handle via the same company connected with two different sites. In this scenario, I don’t see any invoice purpose but the application has the flexibility to get sales prices from the supply site.@Tharaka Senevirathne maybe you can add a real business scenario of why they want to get sales prices for the same company inter-site scenario.Best Regards,Indika

Hi TharakaSince we maintain a price list company-specific, therefore, when you do send a price list then the Supplier purchase part\price tab gets updated on all the sites (if the company is the same).In answer to your second question, I don’t see any workaround. But, if you are sending a price list to the customer [Receiver(s)] then RnD can check if is there any possibility to filter it for a specific site that the receiver is internally connected to. Hi,I think there is no such option in IFS10 to restrict a specific user to work with specific warehouses. But there is a slight possibility that we can restrict a specific user using basic settings. The suggested solution drills down to the Warehouse location group level Go to the warehouse basic data => Create a warehouse worker => Assign the working locations for that worker => Create a warehouse worker group using the assigned working locations => Assign warehouse task for that worker group Go to the Manage Warehouse task window => It will display all the created tasks => Assign a particular task to the userMore information you can see when you open the Warehouse Task window then press F1 to see it window help.BR,Indika

But still, RnD does not cover all the Distribution order functionality in the SO, so far it supported with the same company sites set-up but it needs to support different company sites set up.Once it is fully implemented then Distribution functionality will be scrapped.
