(using IFS10, UPD7)
We are looking into setting up an interface with our external logistics company. We send them our Purchase Orders etc through a scheduled Quick Report.
The idea is that they will revert back when these PO’s have been received by them.
Is there a standard API for this PO Receipt, that also is able to send the location where the parts are stored?

I am not sure this information will help you but we have external exposed Purchase Receipt web Services. We used it for the FSM (Feild Service Management) functionality integrated with the IFS application.

Can this integration only be used by FSM, or also on the standard IFS solution?

We designed it for FSM, I think it might work independently. But we have not tried.
