Hi @sevo I believe this code need to restructure. Basically when during delivery process if it is required to shoot an email you need to send this job into background process using Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call else there’s a possibility of getting mutating error also I don’t see any attribute using in the code to specify the exact order such as &NEW:ORDER_NO, &NEW:LINE_NO, &NEW:RELEASE_NO etc… I’m bit worried about the LU specified and the trigger attached table. May I know the condition you use to fire the event? is it the rowstate change..Thanks, and Best Regards,Shehan

Hi @romsar I’m not 100% clear of your requirement, assume you are trying to get the Customer Order connected Shipment data. As per the understanding, you are in need of getting shipment ID using a function. In standard I don’t think we have a method to retrieve data by passing CO no, line no, rel no and line item no. You can retrieve backwards though, by passing shipment id and line no there’s a possibility of getting the connected customer order info,SHIPMENT_LINE_API.Get_Source_Ref1(shipment_id_ => , shipment_line_no_ => );Either you can get the info using a cursor or may have to write a custom logic.Hope this is what you mean by direct call. Custom Event related to a custom field

Hi, you may have to white a cursor get the required data by passing the PERS_CFT table ROWKEY. Basically the custom table rowkey = standard view objkey. Crystal report changes not showing in IFS

HiIf you copy the crystal report file (rpt file) to the crystal library location defined, cross check file name and the IFS Application end report layout name. Both needs to be exactly same, also if you modifying the files and replacing make sure to move the older version to achieve folder or re-name it. Never replace the file with the new version.Check the system parameters to be sure about the IIS crystal web service instance pointing to correct environment and the location you copy the file.Hope above points will assist you to troubleshoot.Cheers!

Where is the oracle profile in IFS Cloud?

@Technical Toby Hi, you can find that info under Solution Manager > Security > Oracle Users > Oracle Profile. By default when creating users oracle profile sets to DEFUALT but if you want to adjust it you can adjust that as well. Oracle Profile Also if you go to Solution Manager > Security > Oracle Users > Oracle Users you can change the default oracle profile attached to each user by selecting the profile from LOV Oracle User ManagementHope this address your issue.Cheers!

Excel Migration

Hi @rendywinata_ when creating a migration job template for SHOP_ORD view there are two columns 'ORDER_CODE’ and 'ORDER_CODE_DB’ when you using excel migration 'ORDER_CODE’ column will be a dropdown value but 'ORDER_CODE_DB’ is always you have to manually enter for example for Manufacturing its 'M’ likewise depending on your type. Next two columns are ‘ENG_CHG_LEVEL’ and 'ROUTING_REVISION’ these values you needs to manually enter. Hope this is what you referring for..

Report Designer

@ROXTOBANE in order to view/edit report using report designer, you need to export the schema file (.XSD) as well as layout file (.rdl). Go to report definitions > search for the report > RMB on header > export schema, then RMB on layout export. Make sure to export and keep the both files in same folder. Then try with report designer, you should be able to work with the layout. Also it is always good to check you using the correct version of report designer. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Excel Output adding 00:00 timestamp

Hi, try using TRUNC keyword to get the dates only example:- TRUNC(t.invoiced_date), apply trunc for date values on your quick reports this should remove the timestamp on output files as well as report results.

Creating a custom event

Hi @ZTC ZTC JGOTA, simple way to get rid mutating issue is using PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION; keyword right after where your SQL statement declaration and test it if you still getting an error. Sometimes adding this won't help you, in that case you have to send one transaction via background job to fulfill your requirement.

you can check that from the client side via PL/SQL or SQL Developer. go to tools > Compile Invalid Objects.. in order to see what's causing you have to manually go to edit mode on respective package/view to see further.hope this serves your requirement.

Send email based on value from scheduled task

@NerakYak well, you don't need to create a custom event to trigger the email, custom events always bind with table which you create the event for and upon any changes such like insert/update or delete to perform specific action. since you already have a custom package deployed in client environment you can simply create a schedule task to execute every 4 hours as per the requirement.In your custom package I believe you have a function already written to get the return values (0 or 1) so basically you can create a procedure in the declared custom package and inside that procedure do an IF statement to check your pre-written function returns value is equal to 0 then you can trigger the email sending by using Command_SYS.Mail(). Once in every 4 hours when the schedule execute it will check your return value whether 0 or 1 upon your return value, action will perform (in this case send an email).Cheers!

Try modify the code I attached herewith, two codes are for two different requirements. from one you can get the email sending method and the other one how to use the background job. you can combine the method and write your own for the scenario. also try setup 2 event actions too. one for trigger an email and one for error message this may also work.hope this would help...

Yes, send the email using deferred call so the job will handle that part in background and the error message will appears. you can use Command_SYS.Mail() method to trigger the mail sending.

If you using already declared package method, you can basically schedule a task from below window.You can choose the package and method according to the module wise. IAL HR Access

Hi, Im trying to give a non HR person access to training records without exposing the rest so went about creating an IAL for it with live data and then granted permission to the IAL against the users permission set. However when the user runs the quick report it only returns the data that the user has access to i.e under his position access. Previously i have done this and it has worked fine. The only thing i can think of at the moment is that because it it looking at live data and not copied/scheduled then IFS is still checking the position/data access of the user. The IAL is a union on these two views; ifsapp.pers_license_emp_profile_Ov ifsapp.emp_training_history_ov Any ideas? since user able to run the quick report without an issue I believe this is not with the end user permission issue. Have you use IFSINFO.<IAL Name> when you use the IAL in Quick Report? Also check the scheduler when you run the schedule to write the data into IAL does it clear the existing record
