Hi, After applying an update you do not need regrant all permissions again. What you have to do is identify the new changes introduced from the update (to the press objects) and apply them to the existing user roles if needed. Existing permissions will be there without any changed after deploying the UPD. BR,Deepthi
Hi Again, Impacted CRIM handling will be a pure manual work. You need to identify the impact manually by looking at the diff change given in the update analyzer tool and develop it in the correct way to compatible to the new UPD changes. BR,Deepthi

Hi, ‘No impact’ files in any layer is something you can skip. No need to verify them again. We at IFS purely based on the High and low impact files when applying updates. Unfortunately there can be a situation where no impact files has a impact due to below reasons.Wrong practices followed when doing the developments (Ex: when there are override and overtake annotations are missing in the ext and cust layer those methods will not be properly analyzed.) Developments done in the wrong layers is also a risk as they will not be correctly analyzed.Issues coming due to above practices will be identified when building and installing the UPD. It is highly recommended to do testing for the impacted CRIMs to avoid errors. BR,Deepthi

We have experienced the same issue. In our case it was caused by MS Outlook update and IFS fixed it in LCS Bug 152657. Also, what is an LCS Bug? Is that like a data fix or a patch? LCS Patch is a internal wording that we use in IFS. It includes a solution / fix for a issue recreated in a core application. Simply what you have to do is request this patch by creating a case to IFS Support.
Using a Stage Billing template is functionality that has existed in IFS Applications since the 2000 release, or even earlier. As you can see from the user documentation and the activity for Enter Staged Billing Template, the following is stated: Prerequisites A customer order header must have been entered and saved. The template must have been created before you enter the order lines, which are going to be affected by the template System Effects A staged billing template is connected to the customer order header. All customer order lines which are created later than the staged billing template will be given the same staged billing profile. Customer order lines created prior to the staged billing template will not be affected by the template. Even if we can see that the customer scenario of entering a Sales Quotation, and thereafter creating the CO from it, will never give any chance of adding the Stage Billing template until after the CO has been created with all its lines, it
