Mixed payment and Camt054D

Hi,According to the current design, the payments that you receive from CAMT file is recorded via Mixed Payment. That is why you need to use the Mixed Payment in order to create the necessary Payment Vouchers (Journal Entries) to get updated the Cash Book, AP Ledger and GL. generally, CAMT files include all the transactions not only supplier payments and customer payments, so that we need a payment window where you can do all the payments.I am surprised with your statement - “That is the least user-friendly window in the whole Application.If you can please elaborate why do you think like that, perhaps we can help you to resolve your concerns.  Best regards,Chirantha.

PP3 and Preposting

Hi Brian,The pre posting for cash disc will be taken from your ledger item. Check whether you have pre postinngs for the invoice, if not manualy add the relevent code part details in pre posting tab of the invoice. ( If you want you re post the code parts by adding the details to the voucher lines ass well ) As of my knowledger, the pre postings for payment deviations can not be altered at the payment, it is defaulted from your invoice. In my opinion, it serves for the purpose. You need to reconginize the cost assoictaed from these discounts to the same code part registerd for the relevent leger item…..?Best regards,Chirantha.

How do I transfer a customer payment linked to my company (CUPOA) to a customer account?

Hi,You can then simply trafer the parked payment to a payment on account. Steps are given below.Open Mixed Payment. Select the Cash Account ( You can use the same Account that is used when regitering the parked payment or nominal cash account ( if any) it doesn’t matter here as it supports the rqeuirement of having cash account only . Payment dates and voucher dates- use as appropriately, sme as previous so that you woudl not get a  difference. Create one cash transaction for postive for the recognized payer. Say you have received 100 earlier. So enter positive amount of 100. Do not match anything.This is for creating new POA. Enter anotehr line slect the same payer but this time negative -100 to make the payment and remove the parked payment. In the second line go to matching and match the parked payment created earlier. So you get postive and negative payment … Noo impact to th cash Account balance. Create the voucher.You will see the follwoing sort of voucher .Best regards,Chirantha

Tax clearance voucher

Customer NSF check

Hi Kim,You can navigate to “ Manual transaction Mathcing” window, look for this payment ID and untick the Mathc transaction check box. That will remove your matching in Bank Rec.Hope that it will not adversly affect your reconcilitation work as you are going to create a new cheque cashing and again match the transaction in bank rec. ( I hope so… you have to analyse the consequences of your work) Best regards,Chirantha.

Customer Offset Tracking

Hi,Assuming that you refered to a ledger item ( Invoice or any other) as receipt in your question, I would like to add this comment. If it is Invoice, you want to see the all the payments that have been done aginst that invoice. Then you can see the susequent offset transactions as well.You may navigate to AR Customer Invoices Analysis, serach for the relevent invoice and then select the RMB option - “ Payments per Invoice”.This specific RMB option is avilable from many of our AR analysis. Even in Customer Analsyis, you would find this option. So if your ledger item is not an invoice first select the relevent item and use the RMB option in customer analysis window. That is “ Payments per Invoice/Pre payments”I hope this is the easiest way to find the all payments that have been done against a specific invoice or any other ledger item.Hope this would help you to clear your concern.Best regards,Chirantha.

Customer NSF check

Hi Kim,Yes it should be possible.The solution depends how you have craeted the cheque. If cheque was craeted and cashed directly using mixed payment, you will get RMB option in the relevent mixed paymnet “ Cancel Check”.However, if cheque was created first in cheque window and then later cashed via mixed payment then the relevent Mixed Payment needs to be cancelled first in order to cancel the cheque in cheque window.Hope this would help you.Best Regards,Chirantha.

Payments Update

Hi,Yes. You can take the Bank statement, upload the statement into IFS and match with the invoices. So the bank payments are reconciled with invoices in the system.I can’t imagine how you do this manually. There are seeral ways to match the invoices with your payments.Best Regards,Chirantha.

Parked Customer Payment - Cancel

Hi,You should have alraedy craeted a cash transcation aginst this parked payment regradless it was craeted in directly or indirectly. ( as a result of payment cancelation or whatever...)Find that cash acoount where you debited or credited the original entery.Then simply make a payment for the parked payment. That is how you can cancel/revese all the entries related to a parked payment.Parked Payment Creation :Cash   Dr.Cust Parked Pay( Liabilty)     Cr. Payment of Parked Payment:Cust Parked Payment  Dr.Cash    Cr. It is so simple when you know the fundamentals. Best regards,Chirantha.

Vat in adv invoices

Hi Flavia,Nice to see you after sometime.The Core functionality has alos the same feature. If you want to pay the VAT with advance invoice, that is really possible. Print Customer Invoice in Base Currency

Hi,You may follow the steps below to print Pro Forma invoice.Create a customer order. In line level -Enter a value for the feild -” Custom Values”. Select Delivery information tab and enter Custom Value Curreny.This is the curreny from which the pro forma invoice will be printed. Deliver the goods. Open Delivery Note Analyis page and execute the RMB option -Print Customer Order Pro Forma Invoice.Hope this might helpful for you in someway. Print Customer Invoice in Base Currency

Hi,In core application, there is no standard functionality to print the amounts in the commercial invoice in your base curreny. However, IFS offers a functionality to print the performa invoice in any curreny you specify.Hope you know that certain, localization functionalities allows you to print the commercial invoice also in the base curreny. Advanced Customer Invoice

Hi Paula,I havn’t come across a practical scenario or actually done it in the system. However, I can mention that it is something possible to do out of the customer order flow in an offset transcation. You can use customer offset window or mixed payment to offset these two CUPIAs created as a result of paying the advance invoices in two seperate customer orders.The system effet could be that there would be no open CUPIAs to set off against the final invoices of the respetive customer orders. Therecfore, the advance will not be offset with final invoices as simpley because the PIAs are alraedy utilized.Hope this would helpful in some way.  Best Regards,Chirantha.

[ VAT & ACCOUNT MATCHING ] - Finalization of the process New Tax Clearance Voucher.

Hi Eric,This tax clearing functionality has been built based on the balances per tax account. The balances are made from summerzing the tax transcations. In new craete tax clearance voucher, you get all the lins in the same way how the balances are strcutured in balances per tax account window.In other words, when you select a balance for clearing , you select all the tax transcations used to bulid that balance too. It is true that we do not set it is matched in tax transcations window. But in the balance level, you can see the cleared amount. So it does indicate that you matched the transcations underneath.With these feature, I am doubtful that why you are still looking for a matching process. Are you really looking an automatic option in tax transcations window as claered ??Please take a minute and elaborate your requirement.Best Regards,Chirantha.
