@rcruz could it be related to IFSGFT schema? Normally the views that you are using are owned by IFSAPP schema. Could you try to replace IFSGFT with IFSAPP? Hey Marcel, thanks, that worked!
Thank you everyone for the answeres, turns out that the problem was with the server communication. We managed to reset it and now we are having no problems publishing new custom fields. Thank you!!
Thanks, that was the case. unfortunately, the so many generated WOs I cancelled it. and this impacted the future WOs as well. is there any way we could get them back >? regenerating plans is not helping as the WO is cancelled manually from the WO screen. thanks again :-) Hi @Hashmit can you give me more information on your problem? are you talking about cancelled preventive maintenance work orders?
Hi, everyone We have a situation where the user created a wrong time report with over 200h appointed. I reopened the WO and tried to delete it by removing the cost line as we would normally do, but we can’t delete it because the Transaction Status is Transferred What do I need to do to delete this time report? Thank you Hi @EqeMithuV Thanks!! It worked
Thanks for the info, @James Ashmore! You were very helpful.Best RegardsCruz
Hi, @skullk thank you for the reply. Can you point me the name of the window where I can look for these server attributes that you mentioned? You were very helpful, I think we can make something out if it.If more than one WO is created on the mobile appliccation, it does not get sent to the IEE. The problem is, theres no error message that informs us that this situation happened.BRRodrigo Cruz
Hi, The comments added during Time Reporting are visible in the Time Reports tab as well as the Cost tab. Thanks & Best Regards Eresha Hi @ereslk ! Thank you for the reply. For some reason I dont have this Comment colunm on the Time Report tab, it is not even hidden on the colunm chooser options. But the one on the Cost tab really helps! Thanks!
I found out what the problem was. The meter flip value on Serial Object window was set as 2010h. I set the correct flip value and the problem was solved.
Hi, @PennyB did you figure out how to solve this problem? I’m having the same problem and I don’t know how to solve it. BR,Rodrigo Cruz
Hi, I do understand users can be very creative some times😊. In case that there is nothing booked, it should be possible to cancel a WO/WT after reopening. So I cannot help you with this. A possible ‘Creative’ way to solve the reporting part is to change the actual Object ID of the Work Task, so the reporting on the object is correct. You can use an object ‘WRONG OBJECT’ for this. Hope this helps and hopefully someone can help us with the WHY, Robert Hi @EqeRobertK Thank you for the creative solution! It really solves it!
Hi @EqeRobertK You know that users can be very creative some times.I have a situation where the user completed a work order using the wrong object ID and he wanted to reopen and cancel it. Because now we have a maintenance operation registered to the wrong object ID. I already instructed him that we cannot do what he wants. But then I was wondering what is the reason behind it.What is the reason on why we cant cancel a work order after its completion on a workflow process perspective?Thank you!BR,Rodrigo Cruz
What most likely here is that a Failed Transaction occurred and then the rest of the transactions queued up behind it. The Mobile User has then Initialized MWO. This resets MWO data to the existing state of the Server. As part of this process all Failed Transactions are moved to Deleted Transactions with the error “Deleted due to Initialization”. What you need to do is monitor the Failed Transactions and understand the original error. The MWO Users should not be initializing the device to receive new data. This is all handled as part of the Synchronization Rules that maintains the data for each MWO user. Cheers James Hi, James, thank you for the reply, I really appreciate the help and the tips on how the user should do in these cases. You mentioned that the inicialization process is handled by the synchronization rules. Where can I find more about these rules? I’d like to check on how they are set and how they work, so I can keep our users informed on how they can avoid making mistakes
I’m attaching the screenshot again with better quality Thanks
Hi @rcruz Return Material Authorization Lines window itself is Read Only. That’s why you cannot update the custom check box you added. Try it in Sales\Returns\Return Material Authorization → [Return Material Lines] tab. Thank you @Randini Jayasundara!!
