Hello,If the object is in Registered status - you are free to Import it again with different values/dates - or to reuse it for other purposes. It cannot be deleted du to history.

Yes, parent must have its own project. For the parent, its cost should be the sub’s REVENUE (internal invoicing), and the revenue will then be whatever it has to be to match the POC given by the sub.

Cannot post invoices due to error

Hi,I think I am as well a little puzzled with APINVOICE event design.From accounting scheme point of view: when you have charges included in inventory value, on receipt posting event ARRCHG is triggered. In this event, project activity is charged by M1 posting, and M189 (GRNI account) has project preposting excluded.Supplier invoice triggers M187 posting type closing GRNI account (debit) where project preposting is excluded. In case of charges not absorbed in inventory value, rule M65 should trigger, leading to variance account and with project activity (as it charges project again).I am not sure then, what could be reason to trigger couple M187/M189 on supplier invoice. I can see postinmg type M277 triggered, does it mean your order and invoice is in different currency?Can you show here posting amounts and currency code together with posting type? I am trying to figure out correspondence between debit and credit posting lines.

AP invoice from third party system to IFS (Manual Supplier Invoice),

Hello,I am not sure if it is your case, but if you import PO-related invoice to IFS, you should not import invoice postings - they are generated by PO matching process.In invoice postings, only non-ledger accounts can be used, ledger accounts are restricted for posting controls.

Reverse Journal, Manual Voucher

Hello,MT is time reporting voucher from Work Order, if you have posting errors there it means that yout T% posting types were not set up correctly. I think accounts affected are not ledger, so balances can be corrected by manual voucher, but you cannot use Copy GL Voucher rows to prepare voucher. Instead, you can extract incorrect voucher rows to Excel and prepare reverse journal to be loaded via External Voucher Load function.You may use STDVOU file template or create your own one.

Object Depreciation Calculation

Hello,I do not have enough information to tell you what happened. Can you check depreciation calculation applied? You can do it by selecting option “Depreciation proposal history” in Books tab of Object window. You will see there depreciation history, with base value and factor applied each time. Perhaps there you will see something justifying this strange calculation results.

Hello,@Ralph Gericke Function group K can be used to cancel supplier invoices, manual and external customer invoices as well as for manual entries. It was always designed that way. @Danny It seems system does not display you any voucher from GL to be reversed or copied. I am not sure what is the reason. But please be aware that this function only allows you to copy manual vouchers, i.e. function groups M, Q or K, and only deals with manual posting lines (excluding externally load vouchers and results of automatic posting lines).Are you sure you have in GL manual voucher to be reversed?

GL Balance Analysis - Debit Currency Amount and Credit Balance Simultaneously

Hi,Well, if currency rate is fluctuating, it is possible. E.G. my example from Poland. In September within few days currency rate EUR/PLN has changed from 4.40 to 4.60. We have received e.g. 10 000 EUR from customer one day valuated in PLN as 44 000. Few days later we have paid 9800 EUR to our supplier, but we valuated it as PLN 45 800. At the end of the day we owned 200 EUR, valuated as debt of 1800 PLN. Currency revaluation process is dealing with such situations - valuates your closing position in foreign currencies at closing rate. You must dig into transaction details to identify the reason of such balance. It is still possible that you have transaction accounted at extraordinarily high or low rate manually entered, which is ruining your accounting balance position. But it might be normal as well.

Why i don't have the real cost matched in périodical capitalization like the cost in project monitoring.

Hello, @FEKTSIRY Yes, that’s correct understanding. I would add one more aspect to your consideration: time.Project monitoring (PM) considers only current picture of the project, while GL capitalization is periodical - run at the end of specific accounting period. This means, that you can run now capitalization at the end of September, having already postings present in GL for October, PM will include October entries in actual costs presentation, and GL capitalization for September will leave them for capitalization in October.

Hello,Statistical accounts in IFS are excluded from voucher balance check, which means you can book e.g. only debit entry, without any credit counterpart.There are two types of statistical account available: regular and with opening balances. Regular behave like costs or revenues: they are not carried forward to next year, while statistical with opening balances behave like assets or liabilities: have closing balances of the year carried forward to opening balances of next year. You can use statistical accounts in manual posting lines and in posting controls, where tax or ledger account is not expected. I believe for headcount or manhours worked you will use manual voucher, you have an option to use amount or quantity in posting line - up to your needs.

Invoice matching can affect stock, depending on the purchase part setting.I think to close receipt (indicate that no further invoice is expected) you need to set “Closed date” on receipt.

Hello,I think you can raise a support case. It looks like parallel currency amount is calculated simply as transaction currency amount recalculated using parallel currency rate. This is not correct in case of currency differences (special case of currency difference is purchase price variance)

GL Voucher Rows Analysis Page

Thank you pratik.b.shah. another Question please: we have two site in same company so we need to know every line in this page comes from which site. is this possible or I need add custom field to do this difference? Thanks again. I am not sure wht term “site” means here for you.In IFS we are using this term in distribution/manufacturing area, as logically separated part of company operations (with own access control, definition of parts, list of orders, inventory locations etc.). For such IFS site, sometimes we are using code part segment in GL to follow accounting entries, but accounting entries originated from other sources (invoices, payments, payroll, fixed assets) are not originally site-related and site code part would need to be connected in other way (by user group, preposting etc.).It is quite complex matter and requires some understanding on how IFS works, but is possible, if required.

How to offset internal customer and supplier invoice

Hi, if company A and B are different legal entities, I think actually company B should pay the invoice to company A (transfer some money).Otherwise, accounting wise you cannot just close one account in company A vs another account in company B - there must be come counterpart account in same company. You can do multicompany payment as @gumabs suggested, but it will just close AP in company B with intecompany debt account - in GL, not in AP.

I am not sure if I know it by heart. Please keep in mind that curency rate application to invoice header/lines and to PO matching line are two different processes. The parameter you highlighted is applicable to invoice header/lines.

Hi,I think you should indicate that invoices from this suppliers should be matched per line.In such a case, you should add PO line reference in invoice line. Similar options are available on invoice header (when matching is done on header or receipt level)

Hi,Price adjustment purchase option allows you to change invoiced price of PO line matched already with another invoice - this way you can manage price correction invocies/rebates etc.
