Hi @Siva Ganesh M , Which version of IFS are you using? Remember that settings in the Personal Profile take precedence over settings in the Base Profile. Export the users Personal Profile so that you have a backup and then Clear their Personal Profile. Then check to see if the Base Profile displays the screen(s) layout as you expect. If it does then you know the issue is with the Personal Profile - you can maybe drill into this profile and identify/fix the conflicting branches/values. Not fun but doable. Otherwise it could be a Base Profile issue in which case starting again might be quicker than to troubleshoot further. Cheers, Pete
As far as I remember, The Report Rule Engine got the influence from the iPrinting and evolved but of course not everything was included. @KIMKIMANDREW As Tharindu has pointed out - IFS cherry-picked the features from the iPrinting VAP to carry into later versions. The capability that you have described was dropped sadly. My suggestion would be to look at replacing the Operational Report, Report Designer Layouts with Crystal Report Layouts - might not be attractive if you’ve already started to uplift your Apps 7.5 layouts but Crystal is so much more flexible than Report Designer. Just food for thought...
Hi @Siva Ganesh M , To my knowledge this is not possible - you would need two Excel DM jobs. One for New, one for Update - I understand this is not what you’re after. If you have a techie there that is hot on VBA then pass this requirement to them - maybe they can embed a macro into a saved Excel DM workbook to retrieve the WO No. Cheers, Pete
Hi @CallumW, I would recommend https://milletsoftware.com/Visual_CUT.htm this is a report scheduling, bursting engine with full SMTP email capabilities. Its cost effective (dirt cheap), very intuitive and you’ll be up and running in just a few hours. Good luck, Pete
Hi @Sha77, In Apps 9 you cannot nest a CLU (Custom Logical Unit) Table within a CLU Page (or Form) - you can add tabs to existing “core” forms but only if other tabs exist already as standard. In Apps 10 you have 2 clients to choose from, Enterprise Explorer (EE) is the same as Apps 9 so no luck there. The Aurena client is much more flexible as the architecture is different - I suggest you try to workaround this requirement until you dive into your upgrade. Cheers, Pete
You may already understand that reference type persistent custom fields behave differently due to its underline design. However you should be able to design your custom menu as per below and get the expected outcome. Note that the source key is used as CF$_MODEL_REF and the destination key is set as CF$_MODEL_REF_DB. Let me know if you still get any errors or problems with your example. Do not use CF$_MODEL_REF_DB in source. Thanks @Rusiru… the jingle bells were affecting my brain!
Hi @HAANSE,IFS has Crystal Reports integration and is the best way (in my opinion) to create reports in IFS (either to replace Operational Report layouts or Quick Reports). You will need to invest in at least 1 Crystal Reports Designer license (google SAP Crystal Reports, the latest version: 2016 is suitable for both Apps 9 and 10 but check with IFS if you are on an earlier version) and I would recommend reading the Technical Documentation thoroughly to ensure you know the ins and outs of going down this route. All the best,Pete
Hi Shaun,I would try loading the screen with the debug console open in the first instance - this works for most screens.Otherwise use an Oracle IDE such as Oracle SQL Developer, login as IFSAPP and search for views beginning with FND. You should be able to find the ones you are looking for based on the name and a quick SELECT * FROM…Cheers,Pete
Hi Himantha Yasawardana I’ll bite... in the context of the IFS community what is a Superhero and how do you become one?
