Touchapps in IFS 8

There is no way to prevent/block the number of calls between Touch Apps Server and the MWS.Can I ask why you want to limit the number of calls?

Please use Edge to test on the desktop. There is a HL issue with Chrome that will crash the call for most users unfortunately

Reverse proxy using Microsoft server for use with Touch Apps

We have it documented in F1 docs here https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/010_overview/210_security/090_exposing_to_internet/default.htm with a set-up example here: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/010_overview/210_security/090_exposing_to_internet/examples.htm but I dont know for certain if a customer is using Windows Server 2016 as the reverse proxy.

When using the MWO App for Remote Assistance the call uses the Push Notification framework to connect the call.If the Push Notifications are not working, or not enable on the device then you can see this behaviour.Can you confirm if you receive Push Notifications on your device? You can test this from Solution Manager > Aurena Native > Installed Apps/Devices by sending a “Test Notification” messageAlso, you need to ensure that the browser has the correct permissions to allow the call to happen - pop-ups, microphone, camera etc.Can you test an Aurena to Aurena call?

Recommended Android specs for CLOUD21R1 - MWO Engineering app

There is unfortunatley a client performance issue with the Android MWO apps in the store for IFS Cloud. This will be corrected in the GA release which is scheduled for this week. So when you get the App updated next the slow client performance of the App should go away. CheersJames

Is it possible to make a call a web-service from mWO?

No. It is currently not possible to fetch a response from a web service (or another App) using MWO. It is possible to make outbound calls to apps/URLs and pass Work Order data out of MWO via Mobile Integrations but it is not possible for MWO to accept inbound data. CheersJames

There is also a Mobile Status lobby page that shows data volumes and sync times. It might be useful in finding out the performance problem here

Slowness in Push queue messages

Could you give some more details please? Some questions to help with this:Whats the mobile App you are using?Whats the software version?What do you perceive as slowness? Is it slowness in processing a single push queue record or processing multiple records.Are all push queue records processing slowly or just some?What are the push queue records that are processing? Not that I am aware of but I will ask the question of the team responsiblefor the Aurena client

It is only available from within the Aurena Native mobile apps. So MWO and Scan It are the primary use cases for it.
