SV doesn't show up in the general queue

Can someone explain the working of General Queue Module in Astea v14?We have a customer who maintains business in multiple countries. So, they all have separate country code, nodes etc., However, when it comes to work, all the back-office users from all these countries work together under this single business unit. And they need to see “Materials from one country (node belonging to a country) to be visible for another country user (whose node is in different country) in the general queue.”Is it doable? are there any settings which can be exploited to achieve this behavior in general queue? Kindly someone explain.Thanks in advance.

Astea - SV node change

Hi Team, We recently received a request to let Backoffice (Employee Portal) users edit the node value in a service order. They state that it is grayed out for them, and it must be allowing them to edit at any status before invoicing.So, I am planning to gather information about the relationship between status and node ID being editable.Can someone provide me with answers on the same?

Service Order in Rejected status must be invoiced

Hi Team,We have a service order which is in rejected status. But client wants it to be invoiced now.Is there any way we can roll back SV from rejected status and then invoice it?Let us know of any process that may help in this situation, so that we will provide the service requested by the client.

Astea Mobile Customizer not working

Hi Team,Astea mobile Customizer not working.Site is up and running but receiving errors. Errors in browser console:1) Failed to load resource: 500 (http://server_fqdn/asteamobilecustomizer/api/locale/getLocale?lang=en-US&part=portal)2) Failed to load resource: 500 (http://server_fqdn/asteamobilecustomizer/api/security/account)After clicking OK Button, we get a continuous loading screen. Any suggestion or advice to resolve the issue will be appreciated.

Audit queue is not working as expected

In the Audit queue, when tried to run throws an error :Exception Info ==> 0Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.Exception Info ==> 1Object reference not set to an instance of an object.Stack Trace ==> at Astea.NextUI.GUI.AsteaGridViewControl.AsteaGrid.ContextMenu_Click(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs e) at System.Windows.EventRoute.InvokeHandlersImpl(Object source, RoutedEventArgs args, Boolean reRaised) at System.Windows.UIElement.RaiseEventImpl(DependencyObject sender, RoutedEventArgs args) at System.Windows.Controls.MenuItem.InvokeClickAfterRender(Object arg) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler) We cannot get the log for this in the event viewer as well. What should be done? This prevents the invoice process.

Astea Cache Server not running

Hi Team, We are creating a new QA environment from scratch. We installed the base Astea application and publisher so far. We are yet to create DB synchronization and profiles.It is on a halt because the services “Astea cache service”, “Astea cache monitoring service” and “Astea DSE service” are all not running. DSE and cache monitor is failing because cache service is not running. We also received error message as “Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.”To get more information, we checked the error logs (event viewer) and found the below 2 logs:1)Recovering loop failed at 9/4/2023 2:57:11 PMProcess owner: ConfigurationEditorProcess ID: 9940Exception: _isCacheFactoryValid = false. Astea - Contract Lines import - ITF

Hi Team, We have an ITF (created by us) that tries to import data installed item (item) data into contract lines (ccontrl_xref).we mapped item.item_id to ccontrl_xref.table_key, ‘item’ to ccontrl_xref.table_name,also other mandatory fields like ccontrl_xref.to_date,ccontrl_xref.from_date,ccontrl_xref.cc_serial_no_for_import,ccontrl_xref.bpart_id,ccontrl_xref.company_id,ccontrl_xref.priceare all mapped to proper fields in excel sheet data. However, for few lines of import data it works perfectly fine.But for most of the lines it gives “Could not locate item with serial number” even though the serial number is correct and can be found in installed item module if we do a search. let us know how to make this import work so that we can complete a data migration activity.

Astea report - field for large text content (2500+ characters)

Hi TeamWe have a report where the service order - resolution text is shown in the body of the report.Though the field is multi line, can grow is true, the field truncates the content of the resolve text.What should be done in this case?kindly suggest.

Dispatch console Disconnected - Astea v14

In Astea alliance v14, dispatch console is not connecting to only 2 out of 6 sessions.Tried (DSE and cache services) service restarts and IIS resets.Even after multiple such attempts the dispatch console remains disconnected to the 2 sessions only. Anything we can do to resolve it?

Astea - Service Order History - removing customization

Hello Team,In Astea Alliance 14 - UAT Environment - We made a customization on Service Order History Module (c_order_line). We added a field called cst_ref → referring to the ref.no field in Service Order Module (order_line). Later we found that there is already a reference to ref.no field in SV history. Hence, we don’t need this customization, so deleted it.Unfortunately, the new field cst_ref was not removed from c_order_line table and was causing issues in invoicing. As now order_line and c_order_line is not idnetical in terms of columns. So, we reached out to IFS via support portal, and they asked us to drop the column using alter query and we did.Now the table is back to normal, but still the application cannot open anything related to SV history module. In event log we found that the application uses SELECT query in which it explicitly asks for cst_ref column (which is now removed), hence getting error.How to make application not use this column anymore?Need suggestion on this.

This is regarding Astea - S4HANA integration.Can someone please let me know the process involved in configuring the Astea Server and application to send and receive API messages from SAP S/4HANA?It will be helpful if you can explain the steps in detail.
