Hello all,I am testing a scenario using the new shipment order functionality where I have received stock into a picking location within a remote warehouse on one site and then wish to ship the material to a different site location (that is not a remote warehouse) within the same company. The steps are as followed:Material is received into remote warehouse picking location on Site A via a PO. Material then needs to be shipped to a warehouse location (not remote warehouse) at Site B. Site A and Site B belong to the same company. Using the Inventory Parts in Stock Window, I then use the ‘ship’ functionality to create this movement. However, I then receive an error message as shown below informing me that I have not defined delivery terms as mandatory data for the shipment order. I have defined delivery terms against the senders location as this is a remote warehouse, but my question is how do we define the delivery terms for the receiving sites warehouse location, when it is not a remote
Hello Everyone :) My customer wants to attach documents onto the Project Activity Demand Line, so that when they create a Purchase Req from this line in the project, the attachment is then pulled through. I have tried using the Source LU Name of ProjectMiscProcurement and Target LU Name of PurchaseReqLinePart but am unable to see the attachment pull through- any advice? Thank you. Kind RegardsAisha
Hello, My customer is using Aurena, and would like to attach documents such as supplier delivery notes to the Register Arrival Lines, so that after receiving the parts into stock, and the Receipt is then created, the same documents will appear on the Receipt. In Aurena, I have noticed that the Register Arrivals LU is ReceiptInfo, which is the same LU used for the Receipt screen. However, they have different Projections, so I am unsure as to how we would create this object connection transformation. I also looked at this in IEE, and the Register Arrivals screen uses a different LU to Aurena, as it uses PurchaseOrderLine instead of ReceiptInfo, but even when making this an active object connection its not possible to attach documents here.My question is, has anyone used the Register Arrivals window to attach documents before, and if so, how was this achieved? Your feedback and help will be much appreciated.Regards,Aisha
Hello :) I have a customer scenario where they will create a maintenance purchase requisition and convert it to a PO. On the PO line, I tested changing my PO Line to an alternate part, and it creates me a new PO line which is fine however it is not work order connected. I then cant cancel my oroginal PO line because its pegged to the work order. Has anyone else come across similiar scenarios and how to overcome this block? Your help is much appreicated! Regards,Aisha
Hello, I wanted to reach out to the community to see if others have had similiar queries from customers regarding document mangement person groups across several companies. My customer will have around 50 entities- so this could be 400 + person groups to maintain and manage- have others been able to provide a solution around how this can be handled? Your feedback would be much appreciated! RegardsAisha
Hello everyone :) Im working on APPS 10 and wondered if it is possible to have document text we have entered on the Purchase Req duplicated onto the Purchase Order? RegardsAisha
Hello, I am working with a customer, who wants to enable a large amount of objects to control document access as they want to avoid person groups. These include Purchase Req Line Part and No Line Part, Purchase Order Line Part and No Line Part, Receipt, RFQ Part and No Part Lines, Sales Contract and Project Misc Procurement etc. Currently, I cannot enable these objects for access control because the LU’s aren’t able to retrieve the ‘Get-document-access’ package attached as standard, and would require a modification from what I have been told. I wanted to ask if other customers have had similar requirements, where object access control was used for various LU’s or is there a list of objects for access control which will be introduced as standard set up at a later update? RegardsAisha
Hello,A customer of mine, is wanting to use object access as opposed to person groups for the project LU. I have set the object access level as View for Projects, Subprojects and Activity.I have been testing this access, and it seems that even though my user is not connected to the project and company- the user is still able to view the documents in the document revision screen.I would have assumed that if the user did not have access to the company, and project, that they would then not be able to view any of the documents associated to the project object LU. Do we have to use project access, with the object level access for this to work properly? Unsure as to whether the object level access is there purely to define the maximum level of access that can be granted, instead of actually controlling which users have access to the object defined.
