Hello, according to posts about Apps 9, SOD rules have to be created from scratch. Does v10 come with some proposed settings for conflict rules between pre-defined functional areas? Thanks!
Hello, are there any ways to perfom some checks to maintain the safety and quality of DMS content?security related: make sure that before saving a document into the database, it’s free of any virus and any malicious content quality related: when there are many documents, it can be complex for users to check if the document they upload already exists and could be connected, or should be created. It’s far more quick and easy to upload the document. Are there any embedded features to search for potential candidates? There are DMS engines performing this kind of check. Thanks
Hello, by design the work order lifecyle is very open, allowing many transitions (forward, backward) to simplify and speed up the management of work orders. However for companies which would like to go through a more consistent and streamlined process across multiple entities doing maintenance, is there any way to set up the allowed and forbiddent transitions (e.g. it could be mandatory to have a work order always going through “Observed” status?). No BDR seem to drive this capability. Thanks!
Hellosearching whether there are any customers having done integration with Esker supplier invoice integration.Esker claims to have connectors with SAP S/4HANA ou Oracle® E-Business Suite, Oracle® JD Edwards, Microsft Dynamics Navision, but also to support flat file based integration and web services based so this should be feasible with eInvoice module.Best regardsOlivier
Hello, are there some “rule of thumb” recommendations about document repository storage with IFS Apps? Qualitatively, it’s sure that if there is a “big” total volume of documents and/or large individual documents, it might be safe to store on file server rather than as BLOBs in Oracle DB. But the question is how big is “big”? Are there some metrics, returns of experience about this?
Hello from the documentation, I understand that the IFS instance has to be set up exclusively either as 1) enabling copy from Project Deliverables to Asset or 2)to Copy to Equipment. This setup being based on property COPY_TO_MAINTENANCE. Does it mean that once it’s defined for an IFS instance, and that Project Deliverables has been used, then it should stay as it is? Does it means that it’s not possible to run both flows in the same instance? Thanks
