Hello all, I was wondering if anyone else has come across this scenario before? The scenario is in Apps 10 EE. We have received some parts into stock from a shop order. The parts were marked as requiring an expiration date (mandatory expiration date check box checked on Inventory Part). So when we received them into stock they were given an expiration date. We then reopened the shop order and tried to unreceive it because we needed to make adjustments. However, when we were trying to do this we were presented with an error message saying that an expiration date is mandatory and requires a value. Why would the system check for an expiration date when you unreceive on the shop order? It doesn’t make sense to me? The only way we could get around this error was to uncheck the box for mandatory expiration date, then unreceive the goods, and then check the box again. Am I missing some logic here?Thank you in advance
Hello community, One of my customers is planning on implementing export control and is asking whether it is possible to use it with inventory part revisions.In their example, they have one part number that has different active revisions that can be shipped to different countries. Example:Part 123 has revisions 1-3. Revisions 1 and 2 can be shipped to the US market/countries. Shipments to China must have revision 3.I cannot see an option in the current export control module that would allow to add revisions to a license or the part master.Does anyone know if that is something R&D are working on? Or has anyone implemented something custom for this?Thanks in advance
Hi,Has anyone tried to set up pricing for Sales Parts based on combined quantities? We have the following scenario: Sales Part A, Price £100 for Qty <15K, Price £50 for Qty > 15KSales Part B Price £100 for Qty <15K, Price £50 for Qty > 15K However, if the customer buys Sales Part A & B at the same time with a combined Qty >15K they still get the reduced price for each part/line of £50. E.g.Sales Part A, Qty 10KSales Part B, Qty 6KCombined Qty = 16K, Price for Sales Part A = £50 and Sales Part B =£50 The reduced price must be applied at the time of ordering so it can’t be done retrospectively as a rebate for example. I have looked at all options I think, pricelists, agreements, campaigns, sales part discount groups. Am I missing something or is this not possible using standard IFS functionality? Thanks
Hi,Can someone help with absence type functions?I created different actions that should be generated when an absence is registered. Below are two as an example. Both are T-Actions and the function parameters are defined as follows.1;SELFCERT;2;0.01;10;5;10;01;RTW;2;0.01;10;5;10;0They are generally working, i.e. being generated but when the absence types are registered on consecutive days, then I only get the actions for the first absence but not the following.Is that not possible or am I doing something wrong or missing a setup somewhere? I thought that when I define the max break as 0 (last parameter on the T-Action) it would work. It does work when there is a day between the absences.This has been setup in Apps 10 Aurena.Any ideas/suggestions are welcome!Thanks
Hi all,Previously in EE, we were able to restrict the use of a wage code in the time card by setting ‘Allow Manual Results’ to No. This works for time card users and employees who are clocking. However, it didn’t work for time registration users.I can see there is now a new option in Aurena Apps 10 called ‘Restrict Direct Reporting’ I was hoping this would now also restrict the wage code for time registration users but after some testing it doesn’t seem to do so. Does anyone know what this is supposed to do that is different to the toggle ‘Allow Manual Results’? Thank you
Hi all, Is there a way to create employees in bulk when the person ids already exist? It’s basically a TUPE situation. Employees from company A move to company B. Both companies are on IFS. The companies are part of a matrix structure.There is a functionality to remove them in bulk from company A. That works a treat. But there is no option to create the new employee records in bulk. I can’t see an option to select multiple existing person ids.Has anyone done that before without using a data migration job? The environment is Apps 10 Aurena but would love to know if that also works in Cloud.Thank you
Hi,When adding a new contact method for an employee in Aurena, there is an option to link it to an address ID.Once saved, I don’t seem to be able to change this? Below are the options the user is presented with when trying to edit a contact method. As far as I can see, one can change the value, validity period and default toggle but there is no option to link it to a different address ID or remove the link altogether.Is this a bug that has already been reported or am I missing a step here? Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a plan to introduce a functionality to auto match a licence for an order upon release?At the moment the user has to right mouse click on the CO line to find and connect a licence and then update the end user country and/or end usage. This is all very well if there is only a few CO lines but my customer can have up to 100 lines on an order all of which will have to be connected to a licence. Doing this manually is not an option so we are in the middle of creating something bespoke for them.I can’t imagine them being the only customer having that problem so maybe there is something in the pipeline I am not aware of? Or is there anyone out there who had the same problem and has already created something for their customer? ThanksMaria
Hello everyone, I have a customer that is using Recruitment in Apps 10. They have multiple companies set up and are using personnel requisitions to start their recruitment process. Users have got access to multiple companies so could be raising/processing personnel requisitions for different companies. Within EE there is an option to change from single company to multi company analysis on the page Personnel Requisitions. However, when the user does that the RMB option Personnel Requisition… is greyed out which means the user cannot drill down to the detail of the personnel requisition. I was surprised to see that because that function works perfectly well on the Expense Sheets page and since it is the same principle I would have expected it to work in the same way on the Personnel Requisitions page?! Am I missing a setup for this to work? Thanks in advanceMaria
Hi everyone, I am trying to set up company credit cards for one of our customers and am not sure if it’s actually possible to do. They are using Apps 10 and when I try to enter the credit card details I have a mandatory field for the Card Type that doesn’t contain their preferred choice of credit card provider (Barclays). Am I right in saying Barclays is not supported or can one of the available options be used if the setup is identical? Thank youMaria
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone using Apps 10 Aurena is also using the Recruitment section in IFS? We are trying to implement this section and want to integrate it with an external career’s page but there is no standard IFS functionality available (apart from an XML file integration). Has anyone done this before? Any pointers into the right direction would be much appreciated.
