Since moving to IFS cloud, I can no longer delete print jobs in status ‘Error’ or in status ‘Remote working’.The error message given is:“The Print Job “1489559” is used by 1 rows in another object (PDF Archive).”We have had quite a lot of issues with printouts and print agent, which have resulted in a lot of jobs gettings stuck in status ‘Error’.In v10 we had a function called ‘Report Document Archive’, where i think the actual PDF was stored? This is no longer available in cloud, I can’t go there to remove the PDF. And I can’t delete the printout in ‘Report Archive’. Most of the printouts have already been removed from ‘Report Archive, automatically, because the ‘Expire Date’ is only one day (work instructions, labels et cetera).Am I missing something in the setup?
Preview of pdf documents gives an blank page for some documents. In this case from function ‘Non conformance report’You need to press the left arrow, multiple times, in order to bring the document up. Downloading the document and opening it works, but requires more steps.Preview works for some documents, but not all...IFS Aurena Extension is installed, acrobat extension also installed.Does anyone has any suggestions on what might be missing or wrong with these documents?

Is it necessary to connect an order charge to an order line, in order to get the charge included in the Intrastat report?According to documentation on the ‘Collect Intrastat Data’ page:Charges related to purchases and sales will be included only if the Intrastat Exempt check box has been cleared in the charge linesOur charges are usually not connected to a specific order line. They are generic header charges summarizing how many pallets and package material that was used on the order. And these charges are not automatically included on the Intrastat report, even though they are not Intrastat Exempt on the Sales Charge Type.It feels like it should be possible to include sales charges without connecting them to a specific order line. This was possible in a previous ERP system that I used, as long as a commodity code was connected to the sales charge type.Can this be configured in IFS, to include header charges in Intrastat report, without connecting the charge to a specific order line?
Has anyone experienced issues with using Enterprise Explorer in high resolution?We have a number of laptops with 3200*1800 and if you are using that in combination with 200% scaling, there can be overlapping in displaying list of lines.For example in ‘Equipment Object Navigator’, where the tree structure would be a bit compressed and lines overlapping.We solved it by lowering the resolution to 1920*1080, but would like to go back to a higher resolution because of other applications.Is there any limitations in support for higher screen resolutions with Enterprise Explorer?(IFS application 10 upgrade 7)
Where can we configure that an image, added to the Media Library, automatically get ‘Media Print Option’ set to ‘Print’?When we add images to ‘Routing Operation Work Guidelines’, all images are added with ‘Media Print Option’ set to ‘Do Not Print’ - we need to manually toggle this to Print for each image added.However, when adding images to a Non Conformance Report, then the images are added with ‘Media Print Option’ automatically set to ‘Print’.I haven’t been able to find any configuration for this.There are no problems printing the images on the Work instruction when the Media Print Option have been toggled to Print.
I’m trying to delete two customers created by mistake, as prospects.I’m receiving the following error message in the debug console. ORA-20105: Assert.IS_VIEW: "" is non existing view.The only information displayed on screen is: "" is non existing view.The customer form have three custom objects, can it be related to those? I have tried to run the form without them and then delete the customer - but same result.Since there is information missing in the error message it is a bit hard to know where data or connections are missing. I can’t see any mandatory fields that are missing data either.
Is it possible to split a scanned barcode field into multiple input fields in IFS.I can’t figure out how to split the barcode in Warehouse Data Collection or if it is possible or not.We have labels, from an external system, where the barcode contains Shop order + Relase no + sequence no. For example ‘670303-1-1’. Separation character ‘-’.Right now we scan part number, and then select the correct shop order from a list in the scanner. It would be much more efficient if we could scan the barcode with the shoporder/release/sequence no.I also have a scenario where a QR code could be scanned that contains all fields from the label, with a separating character. It would be very useful to be able to split the information instead of scanning multiple different barcodes.
I have added a new field to a view, used by an existing crystal report.The new field is added to the report. and the report displays the field correctly in Crystal Report preview, with data.However, when the report is tested in IFS, there is no data. The field doesn’t appear:I have moved around other fields to make sure that it is the correct report that is executed. All other changes are visible, but the new field that was added to the view.Query data works without any problems.Is there a step that I have missed/forgotten? What need to be done when adding an additional field to an existing view?
We have a site that have entered new prices into the pricelists manually for many years.Adding a new price list line and leaving the old price as-is, without ‘closing’ the old price with a ‘Valid to’ date. Now we want to close the old prices by adding a ‘Valid to’ date to all price list lines that has a newer price. Is there a function in IFS to close old pricelist lines? Or do we have to this with SQL or migration job?
When do we remove GB as an EU member in ‘ISO Country Codes’?I guess this should be done on January 1, so that new invoices from this date will get the correct VAT decisions?But how does this influence the Intrastat reporting that will be done in the middle of January, for the month of December?If GB isn’t an EU-member when the intrastat is generated, I suppose that transactions with GB will be exluded. Do I ‘re-instate’ GB as an EU-member while running the Intrastat for December and then Brexit them again? In reference to the webinar regarding Brexit
I have tried to hide the confirmation dialog for a specific printout. I have not succeded through report rules.Is it possible to hide the dialog box? And automatically send the printout to the printer?In one of our processes, when reporting shop orders in shop floor workbench, we don’t want this box to appear when printing Handling Unit Labels. (it has happened more than once that operators by mistake click cancel and the result is no labels printed on the printer)On IFS 10 upg11
Are there performance differences on the different implementation types on custom fields?I’m building a printout that will require quite a few custom fields and I’m pondering the performance differences on the different types. My aim is to build a light impact solution.If I can retrieve a value using any of Reference, Select and Expression, which is most efficient?
