Hi all, I previously had a topic on this, which lead to looking into the NLS settings, but unfortunately not found a solution yet. So hope someone has some valueable input for this.We have a scheduled database task for the Supplier Payment Proposals, in which we use a “substitute variable”, being Start of Next week. However, the created Proposal, has start of next week as Sunday, and not as Monday.When i manually create a Supplier Payment Proposal, it does take Monday as the First Day of Next Week. We have changed the NLS Setting for the Database Processes to Danish, set the Database Settings to Danish as well as the Server settings. But nothing seems to have any impact on the scheduled database tasks behaviour.
Hi all, Does anyone know how the Payment_Block_No is defined in the standard Payment files? (We are using CORE_001.001.03_ISO20022) As we have a new requirement, we looked into how the data is structured. And we noticed that something payments are joint in the same block, but we cannot identify the logic behand this.In this case, a Supplier Payment with a Supplier in Namibia and Denmark got added to the same Block_Number. Besides both suppliers being paid as Wire_Dom, nothing else seems to be in common. In the same Payment order, there are many more Wire_Dom payments, which are not combined in the same block.

Hi all, For the PAIN002 (Payment Status File) from the Bank, we have a transformer to map the original XML file into the requirements for the File Template.However, we see one challenge - the transformer (partly copied below) is representing in 1 C5 tag per appearance. In the loaded External File; we then only see the last record. Hi all, We are using IFS10, UPD9. We have a couple of lobby, that when searching for them appear like 5 - 10 seconds after the other lobbies. Does anyone know what is causing this and how we can improve/change this? For example the last lobby appeared later than all the others.

Hi all, We want to use Cash Flow Forecasting, and in our settings, we want to include Cash Account Balances.However, when we run the Cash Flow Forecast, no details from our Bank Balances are reflected. We use Mixed Payments to record our Bank Statements. Is there some kind of setting that needs to be activated for the balances to show?

Hi all, We are currently on UPD9, where we have the issue that terminated Employees are still showing as Supervisor for an employee. This should have been fixed in UPD12, so as we recently got access to UPD15, i got suprised to run into the next challenge… So for below Employee, it still shows a terminated employee as the manager , but now even two times. How is this possible? And where is the current manager now? Production: Showing terminated employees GTH021 & KBE077. Hi all, We have recently started to do business in a country eligable for WHT. This has started to raise some questions in regarding to invoice amounts.IFS calculates WHT on the Net Amount, e.g. if we record an Amount of 10.000, we have lets say 1.000 WHT to pay to the tax authorities and the Supplier will get paid 9.000. This creates an issue, as, the supplier is expecting to receive 10.000 (agreed rate).Is there a setup in IFS that allow posting of WHT, without affecting the trade payable amount to the Supplier? Or are we forced to gross up the invoice amount, so supplier gets net paid with has been agreed?

Hi all, On IFS10, UPD9. We use Posting Proposals - and inherit authorizers from the PO. This also means, that authorizers could already be assigned to the Invoice, before the Invoice has been reviewed and Posted by the Accounts Payable team. Now the team has asked us to prevent users from handling the Invoices, before the AP Team have Posted the Invoices. Is there anyone who has a smart solution or idea to prevent such invoices to be available for the users?We use a lobby to navigate to Posting Proposals window, so we can add this as a filter in the Lobby, but users can still just populate all records in Posting Proposals.

Hi all, On IFS10; UPD9. We have got a request to be able to mark purchases relating to a specific purpose. These purchases can both be on Project or not on Projects, so Project Code is not really an option.Has anyone has a good suggestion to achieve this? Was hoping to be able to use Code Part D, allowing to track in Finance, but M1 doesn’t allow pre-posting for this Code Part. And the options available, are not useable for us. Arend
Hi all, We have a large offshore community that work in shifts, which can mean not having to login to IFS for multiple weeks. As you can imagen, every now and then a user has forgotten their Password.The user will create a request in our IT Self-help Portal (ServiceNow) and our support team will then reset the password in IFS. Analysis show that 1 of the 5 tickets raised, are for PW resets.It this not something IFS should/could be able to handle on the login-page? E.G. that you can request to have a new (random generated) PW send to your email address as registered in IFS?
Hi all, In Format Specific Info per Institute, you can change the settings from a Unstructed Payment, to a Structured Payment. Structured payments are used, for example, for Danish FIK. These settings come into play to generate the ISO20022 credit transfer XML file.Now IFS has set the lenght of the Unstructed field to 140 characters, but the Structured field to 35. This is causing an issue, as for example Brazilian Boleto payments require up to 47 digits. Is is possible to extend this length, without having to go for a customization, or change the core code?
Hi all,(IFS10, UPD9)For Processing Supplier Invoices, we have activated the checkbox to Inherit Authorizer(s) from Purchase. This works fine for the regular flows. However, when a Purchase Order Change Order has been made - IFS starts to pick-up the authorizers from the Change Order, instead of from the Purchase Order.When a minor change is made, we allow this to be authorized by only one person. If then an Invoice arrives with a discrepancy, only the POCO authorizer gets assigned, causing additional manual work. We have raised this with IFS, but this is seen as a feature and not as a bug. Anyone else who has this same issue and can maybe share what solution you have implemented around this?

Error is: Watchdog kicked in, operation takes too long time! Aborting… System seems to be running like normal, but not sure where to look for an issue.

Hi all, I would like to hear how you (IFS10 users) are reconciling Credit Card Transactions. Our Credit Card company is invoicing us in the local currency, invoicing us in DKK as we are based in Denmark. The Credit Card Transactions can be in different currencies, like USD, EUR, GBP, etc..Reconciling the Supplier Invoice against the transactions was never an issue on IFS8, as here TX7 was also posted in the local currency (DKK). IFS8 screenshots. Credit Card Transaction of GBP 32,40 - but TX7 posted as DKK 273,32 Now on IFS10, IFS has changed the TX7 posting, and it is now in the Credit Card Transaction Currency. We can’t see any benefit for this and are running into big issues on reconciling/matching the balances. This as we now have an Invoice in local Currency (DKK), but transactions posted in USD, EUR, GBP, etc..Do we really have to create manual transactions every month, to be able to reconcile & match the balance?
