I cannot isolate why some tasks that are completed in mWO are not updating the Work Task to Work Done status. In the example below, we have a 2-task work order, with each task having 1specified person resource demand (no other demands). Each task was assigned to the same resource as the demand, and then transferred to mobile. Task was completed in mWO, no outstanding steps or materials, etc., then returned. Reviewing the task shows the following results:
Looking for example scenario(s) of customer using the Override Cost Code functionality on a Work Task and the Cost Codes and Cost Code Rules that they applied for those scenarios. I’ve read the IFS Documentation definitions, but looking for real-life scenarios. Any info appreciated.
Customer is on 23R1 and Event ID “PCM_CALENDAR_GENERATION” (Entity = PmCalendarPlan) is not available. We’ve looked in several customer environments and demo environments and the event seems to ONLY be in demo environments. Has this been deprecated?
Customer would like to only have 1 option when creating New Work from MWO Maintenance app. I and my colleagues have hunted around in Page Designer (1st image) to see where we could do this and the closest we came was trying to set an Enumeration Filter (2nd image), but when I set the value for the desired option (3rd image), I cannot save my selection (4th image). Not even sure if the Enumeration Filter is the right place to accomplish our requirement. Any help?(1) (2) (3) (4)
I am trying to have all dependent tasks from a PM Action transferred to mobile at the same time, so task A must be done before task B can start. However when having task B dependent on task A Finish to Start, task B cannot not be transferred until task A is completed. In this scenario, the tech would have to wait for task B to get transferred before he can start it. I’ve also played around with Combined and Ordered dependencies, but they don’t even seem to have any impact on transfer to mobile, start/complete work as documented in Service Work Preparation - https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/23r2/RequestManagement/ActivityAddModifyWorkTaskDependencies.htm. This is 23R1.
Trying to convert an old APP9 work instruction to Cloud, and finding roadblocks along the way. This seems to be way more complicated than it should for such an important function. I’ve worked with other ERPs in the past which were way less complicated.Has anyone been able to get the end-to-end process working in cloud. Or does anyone have related documentation or video? I understand R&D is changing this functionality...any idea when?
