Hi Wondering, we have a field available to us on screen for ‘Supplier Name’ - but when I look in the search box to configure so users can search by name its not available. Is there anything I can do to make this field searchable?? Is there perhaps an SQL expression I can use that will put the sort by name into order?
I am trying to make the receipting process more efficient. We have a number of low value items we would like to automate the receipting for. These are goods that go directly from the supplier to our sites. Is there an easy way to achieve this or do I need to look at customisation? Perhaps it could be set up by cost centre rather than value
We have an issue with Crystal Web services which we are looking into, but I want to create an event that would fire when a print job goes into a status of ‘Error’ - the action being to ‘Restart’ the job (As you can do manually with an RMC. Just want to automate this re-try for the time being. I have created an event on the ‘Printjob’ logical unit, but not sure how to make it fire and perform the restart action. Any tips?? Am trying to make this fire when the message ‘No PDF returned from Crystal Web Service’ Thanks
We have managed to configure the TAS server and are able to send work stream notifications and messages but nothing else. Is there any security or event configuration I have to set up to be able to use the notify me app?? I was hoping it would be just a matter of the user being able to log on and base functionality would allow them to see anything assigned to them. Help appreciated
Hi, As am unable to record ongoign sickness on APPS9 - I wanted to record a ‘To’ absence date a long way in the future. Unfortunately, it wont allow that because of holidays booked already it wont allow overlapping absences. Is there anyway i can configure to have more than once absence recorded for a different reason but a the same time?
I was kindly helped previously, but struggling to use the resolution was recommended here: I can see the ‘Ongoing’ option on the absence registration tab, but when I look I cant find the column at all? Am assuming I need to set this up somewhere as some kind of absence type?? These are the options I see: Help appreciated!
I would like to record absences that are ongoing where I do not have an end date. From what I can tell, the absence registration requires both a FROM date and a TO date. I would like the not have to enter the TO date, leaving the absence open and then reporting as such. As it were, am having to record sickness in outlook, then add to IFS once I know the absence dates. Would prefer to keep all in once place. How do you guys record open-end sickness in IFS? Am a little new to IFS, but want to avoid giving users error messages due to layout changes or any other issues that am yet unaware of. So question is, can i publish custom fields whilst people are using them? Its referenced fields for the customer 360 screen. Does anyone have any best practice tips for making custom changes on-the-fly. In my past experience in other similar role, i would normally wait until outside of hours to update live.
