I would like to record absences that are ongoing where I do not have an end date.

From what I can tell, the absence registration requires both a FROM date and a TO date. I would like the not have to enter the TO date, leaving the absence open and then reporting as such.

As it were, am having to record sickness in outlook, then add to IFS once I know the absence dates. Would prefer to keep all in once place.

How do you guys record open-end sickness in IFS?

Thanks

Bruce

Bruce

When creating your ongoing absence leave the Date To field blank and tick the Ongoing checkbox.

Thanks - but i am using APPS9 and dont have any ‘Ongoing’ field to choose from

Any other ideas?

Am trying to set this up, but having problems.

I cant see the option for ‘Ongoing’ in the absence registration so am guessing it needs to be set up in the parameters??
