Please check 2pictures below (Shop Order(above), Invenrty Parts Mater(lower) As Shop Order created, how Lot/Batch No generated Automatically? LotNumber (right) has been generated to conbine Order NO,"-", Rel,"-" Seq "-" with running number. (See Shop Order screen) But, please take a look the lower picture, Invenory Part master. You can find that Lot batch string can be defined as Prefix of Lotno when Manufacturing process. My Expect for lotbatch number is as below in this practice. Lot batch no of “G-3081 18L” should be G-3081xxxx (xxxx auto run number) Master could be completed, but why the lot no can noto be controlled. Please give me your advise. Regards; Yasuda
Can we restrict employees to report time only for the operations which they are connected through labour classes without using competency profile functionality? If possible, please explain the set up.
Dear All, I have created DOP header from customer order. I closed all the supplies generated from DOP. Now when I am checking Part Qty Delivered in Demand tab of DOP header, it is showing as 5 although I have not delivered in customer order . Why in DOP header is coming is part Qty delivered as 5. It should be 0 as per my understanding since Customer Order has not been delivered yet. Thanks! BR Cheers to IFS
Anyone on top what will happen with the old IFS forum called Open IFS?https://open.ifsworld.com/forum/default.aspxStill seems to be active discussions going on there, and no comments about switching to the new community.
Hi, We are facing the issue where the interval from our Shop Floor Workbench Filters is not looking at the manufacturing calendar. We have for example an interval of -10 days in the past and 3 days in the future. This is causing issues on the Fridays where users are not able to see the planning for Monday and Tuesday. Is there a fix/workaround for this issue?
Hi, In the shop order screen can I select part no configuration in the list of value?
Hello. When using component parts across a multiple lot size, say 10, IFS wants to split the Qty Per Assembly if the split is not “all”. For example, lot size 10, qty req per assembly is 1, if we use 5 qty of alternate component part, the qty per assembly is 0.5. In the case where the part cannot be physically split, i.e. a bolt, then i’d want to issue all 10 to the shop order and use qty per 1 per assembly, and just use 5 of part A and 5 of part b. Is this possible? Apps9-upd15. Dave
We have a number of shop floor based employees who are not users and register to shop orders via the Shop floor Workbench, which adds a labour clocking to the shop order operation, this clocking can also be viewed in shop floor clocking’s, time registration and time card day MFG Clocking’s screens. Why is it then that when the Shop Order button in time registration screen is used to register the time against a shop order operation this transaction is not also visible (created) in the other views, what is the point of the Shop Order button in time registration? When comparing shop_order_operation with routing_operation not all fields are considered/updated. E.g note_text. You have to delete the shop order operations first. Is there a way to compare all fields?
Pick by Choice is a functionality introduced in App10, there we have the option to select the scope of the choice we should be given when making the choice. My question is when I allow this functionality to be used on stock for which the pick list has been created and printed how does it work when a change is made to the existing picking plan of that stock since the previous pick list has been already printed.
