Hi All,When I try to accept the Service Quotation which is created from a PM Work Order (Work Order generated from PM Action) getting an error as ‘It is not possible to modify object for a work order generated from a PM action.’ Any idea? Or is it Service Quotation can’t be used for PM Work Orders?ThanksBhaskara

Hi, we have a Work Task Template with Revision Control enabled on it.On the Active revision, IFS correctly restricts the ability to add new lines into Work Task Steps etc., however it allows Work Task Steps to be deleted on the current Active revision.Shouldn’t revision control prevent Work Task Steps from being deleted from an active revision Work Task Template, or is this normal and why?Running Apps 10 Update 6.
I’m trying to get media working in our test system on fault reports - LU ActiveSeperate. I have added Media to the Object connections and can see it on the screen but when I drag an image to the record I get the following error message:We have just applied Update 17 to this environment so unsure if this is an update issue or if you can’t use media on fault reports or if I’ve not configured it correctly.Thanks Sarah
What are the benefits of setting a functional object as a Geographical Object? Can’t I just use a functional object with a particular object level to represent a geographical area?I know Geographical Objects are used in Service Contracts but I am still unsure of their advantages and disadvantages. When working with the toolbar, I used the contextual menu to hide diferent toolbars. Suddenly, I hided all the toolbars and I can not find the way to show the toolbar again. I’ve looked in every menu available, and tried with the secondary mouse button on the menu. When purchasing customer owned parts from work order with the setting Cost Return At = Arrival, Why do we get posting lines created at receipt ?
1. Create work order and work task. 2. In the work task enter the duration xx, enter planned start and finish date to a larger period. 3. Enter a demand line for person resource group. 4. Select the line RMB Allocate Resource. Here it seems no calendar is considered :thinking:
