@Mathias Dahl This discussion was one year ago. Has the situation changed now? Are there any alternatives introduced for cloud for search? If not any concrete plans for upcoming releases? ( ‘can we search ….’ is one of the first questions I get when talking about document management to customers. So fingers crossed :) )
Hi Lokesh, Fancy seeing you here ;)First of all we have to install the redline tool RxHighlight in our machineThen register .xcm as a file type ( the document type should be Redline) in EDM Basic/ File typesThen we have to point out the exe file of the redline application in Document Management/Basic Data/ User Settings - External redline application.after this set up is done, when you create a document ( with a file that allows redlining, pdf, autocad) you can use the RMB option Comment to Edit and Check in the comment file. Perhaps @Mathias Dahl can comment whether process is still the same in Cloud ( do we even have this in cloud? )
Hi @Nethmini Kosvinna, I raised this sometime back but to the best of my memory, we did not prioritize this requirement since this will need a customization. In the standard solution, there are no validations to check the qualification in this level. We are in APP10UPD12.
@Kemal Yasintha did you manage to solve this? we are facing the same issue in one of our customer environments
Thank you for the response. However I’m not sure this will work for my requirement. In my work task template (eg: Bi annual calibration ) there are several tasks that needs to be performed by one resource group ( Calibration technicians) but each task needs different certificate to perform the work.So I cannot create this as a Job and assign it to whole group.The best possible solution is to add additional qualifications at WTT/ work List/ Resources RMB additional qualifications. The employees already have the certificates entered for them in Employee qualifications. This should be considered when we are assigning resources in the work order. Currently, when additional qualifications are added , ‘Allocate resource’ does not display any employees in resource group, while ‘assign work’ display all the employees in the group ( including employees who do not have the certificate )

Thanks for the reply, the event ‘PrintJob’ is enabled. I’m not sure how to add conditions. Do you mean by creating a new event action for this and adding conditions to the event action? If so how did you set it up?
Hi, is there any additional set up needed to check in the report to DocMan ( other than creating the document class i’m planning to use)? I have the exactly same set up as @kibsdk ( with the ^ mark)but nothing get created in DocMan. the report get executed. Report rule log has following entries.any help is much appreciated.
