@Charith Epitawatta - can you or someone on your team address how to properly incorporate Event Action parameters into IFS Cloud URL’s? I have another need to do this, and I can’t find the right syntax.
@Charith Epitawatta - the Lobby Navigation Guide does not cover the use case of passing Event Action parameters in a filter clause for an IFS Cloud URL. How does one take one of the Event Parameters (&NEW:STD_PARAM or &CUSTOM_PARAM) and use it to drill into the appropriate record? I tried both the $[PARAM] and $PARAM$ notation, both with and without the & prefix, and neither work. Since this is not documented in the Tech Docs for Event Actions, can you please provide an example?
@anmise - I have the same question as @jbernardo. In your example, you were going to the Customer Orders page, while the OP’s example was going to Customer Order Lines. Just adding “Truncated” to date attributes doesn’t appear to work across the board, as I just tried it with WantedDeliveryDate and got the same error. Can you please explain this further?
@James Ashmore - just to clarify...you’re saying that re-initializing after an appearance design and corresponding context change will not be enough, we need to “disconnect and activate” the app, which to me means that we need to disable the app/device, delete it, and then reconnect thereby generating a new app/device record - is that correct?
Hi Chamaka - your post was exactly what I was looking for as I was about to post the same issue.The issue stems from the fact that, for some reason, List-type lobby elements force numerical values to be right-justified, and text values to be left-justified. So, when you mix these values on the same element and have a numerical column followed by a text column to the right, you get this display issue. There are 2 issues that I would like someone from RnD to address here:The “Preview” section in the Element Designer shows all columns, regardless of numeric or text, as left-justified. Why does this behave differently than the lobby page itself? This negates the whole purpose of a “Preview” function if the results do not accurately reflect how it is displayed on the page. Here is how one of my elements displays in the Element Designer - this looks great!: Here is the same element from above as shown on the lobby page. The Wo No and Mch Code columns are barely readable: Ideal
@James Ashmore - I just emailed you the environment and login details...A little more info - I was on a call with @AmyE this afternoon, and I had her test it as well since she uses iOS. Initially, she logged in as the same user in the same environment, and was able to drill into a work task within My Work. I asked about which version of the app she was using, and she was still on the 21.12.x. version, so we went to the App Store and updated it to 22.3.495.0. When we tested again with the new app, it still worked OK for her and did not crash.@justinmoon - maybe it’s worth trying to uninstall the app and re-install it? Maybe something went wrong with the app update on your phone?
Hi all:Yes, Justin sent me these device logs earlier today, and I did not see anything in here that pointed to more detail on why the app force-quits. In the “Insights” log, you can see the last entry where it logs the user accessing the My Work tile, and then the logging ends. In the regular log file, there is nothing - just a “SyncEnded” before the time of the crash followed by a “SyncStarted” afterwards. I don’t have an iOS device so I cannot recreate the issue myself - Android seems to be working fine (MWO Service 22.4.504.0). The iOS version being used here is 22.3.495.0, which I’m assuming is the latest, correct?
@AmyE
Hello Kevin!Your efforts here were pointed out to me by one of the consultants that I support, so I took your custom package and deployed it into one of our internal Apps10 UPD10 environments, and then created a Quick Report using your example Get_Search_Results function call.I have some questions as to how this package works based on my reading of the code, but in a more general sense - can you give an example scenario where you are searching for a phrase and would normally use EAS on the IEE side, and then show how your solution would work on the Aurena side? So far, I’ve been unable to get the QR to return any search results, but I may not be understanding how to utilize this correctly.Thank you!Rob Simon
