Hi Mohammad,I’m not an expert in this area but I was involved in a training session with one of the KU’s in my team who had the similar requirement as you have outlined above. I believe that it is possible but you will need to change a setting on the inventory part in question in the system, see screen shot below.Maybe this will drive some further input from users who are more familiar with procurement and or inventory management. This screen shot is in the Apps 9 version of the system. You may have to re-run PMRP for the req’s to be merged. There may be further settings associated with this change but I’m not certain on those. Again specialists with better system knowledge than mine would be better able to advise. BRJohn
Hi,Did you get an response to this. We are thinking about a similar application of this tool in a similar way, to yourselves? Particularly for internal tickets. BRJohn O’Sullivan
Hi RigsIrosh, Thank you for your reply, but I don’t completely understand what you have written in your reply. Here is a sample scenario that we are trying to achieve by applying a discount amount instead of a percentage:“Would it be possible to have an ‘amount’ and ‘a percentage’, very often the reason for having discount at header level is that the % is difficult to achieve! For example we take an order for Euro 282,885. But we have negotiated with the customer to apply a discount amount of 13,610 exactly. If you try and “fudge” it using a percentage 282,885 * 0.48111423 = 13609.9999, which is not exactly correct and some customers can be particular about our documentation matching theirs exactly(for statutory and taxation purposes). Is it possible to have the discount amount subtracted somehow from the total order amount?
Our experience reflects yours and I certainly would not be signing onto a very expensive agreement on the promise that you would see an improvement. I would look elsewhere, there are other options out there, that is what we are doing.
Hi Jackie, We Incoming Order Confirmation was approved.BEst RegardsJohn
Hi SoerenOhmThank you for your message. I would certainly be interested in hearing about your experience. Based on your entry we are on a similar path you. We are currently using APPS 9 cloud hosted and continuing to implement on additional international subsidiaries. Can I ask who is managed services provider? Are you with IFS or another service? Best RegardsJohn
Hi Yosef, We are a cloud hosted customer, so what we need if for the DB to be accessed from China. SO yes we’ll need Chinese users to access it from within China. RegardsJohn
Thanks alot Pradeep.
Hi Pradeep, yes I believe so. I have taken a screen shot of the links which I have downloaded and attached them to this post. Regardsjohn
