How can I check the Gold Support Term update history?

Dear @Peter Remnemark , Thank you for your response.By your response,I found out, that “Gold Support Term” was updated in October 2021.>I’ve taking the feedback about the date and version in our terms back into our legal team. “Gold Support Terms” and “Global Support Policy” are documents related to the contract, and when changes affect the contract, we need to explain to the customer and change the contract.We would be very happy if you could include a history of changes and a summary of changes in the future.Best Regards,Hiroki Iwakura

Dear @KristenGastaldo ,We would like to introduce IFS Community to our customer, please tell me about P6 in the attached PDF file.Is it correct to say that user IDs registered with "IFS Customer" as their Member Type cannot access any pages other than those listed below?　-”IFS Solutions” on page “Community Home”　-Listed in “Knowledge Base” in the header menu “IFS Product Release Notes”　-Listed in “Knowledge Base” in the header menu “Knowledge Base” In other words, does “IFS Customer” not have access to “Events”, “Groups”, and “Ideas” in the header?

After upgrading to IFS10 Update16, CPU usage of Antimalware Service Executable process is high in Application Server.

Dear @Santana Thank you for your kind support.I set up the client PC according to your response.However, when I logged into the IFS10 Update16 environment, as shown in the figure below, the CPU usage of the client PCs “Antimalware Service Executable” and “IFS Enterprise Explorer” were high and it took 4 minutes and 30 seconds for IEE to start and the situation did not improve.In addition, I logged into the IFS10 Update 8 environment on the same client PC, and IEE started up in about 40 seconds.If you have any other ideas that could improve the situation, we would appreciate your cooperation.Best Regards,

After upgrading to IFS10 Update16, CPU usage of Antimalware Service Executable process is high in Application Server.

On the Application Server, specifying IFS_HOME for the Windows Security Exclusions calmed the CPU usage of the "Antimalware Service Executable" process on the Application Server. However, when I tried to log into IEE on the client PC, this time the CPU usage of the "Antimalware Service Executable" process on the client PC increased and IEE became very slow. If you have any ideas to reduce the CPU usage of "Antimalware Service Executable", please let us know.

Tip: Collecting Application Server diagnostic information

Dear @Pawel Lenczewski , It is described as “Please note that Middleware has this enabled by default ...” in chapter “Using JConsole”. With this setting enabled by default, a large amount of logs are output to C:\Windows\Temp. This caused one customer to run out of space on the C drive. Is it possible to disable this default setting that is enabled?If possible, please let us know how to do so.Also, if there are any parameters to control the output log volume, path, etc., please let us know how to set them. Apache Log4j vulnerability CVE-2021-44228

Dear @Paul ,I would like to reconfirm my previous question about the availability of Update 17 for customers who are using Apps 9 during the Restricted support Phase.Based on your answer, I checked with Yoshito Shimazaki, who belongs to IFS Japan, and he gave me a different answer from yours as follows.The following is a translation of his response, in which he says that it is fine for partners to distribute Update 17 to customers without permission, but that IFS Japan does not approve of it.Can our customer get Update17 under Restricted support contract?Can you please tell me which answer is correct, yours or IFS Japan's?---------We have been asked to distribute the Update17 on the assumption that it will be used with Restricted support. Tip: IFS Applications - Restricted Support Phase

Dear @Paul ,The following information can be found in "Continuous Support" of "Global Support Policy". Bi-Annual Release Updates, Service Updates per Release: 23 months from RTMAm I correct in understanding that the expiration date of "Continuous Support" is 23 months after a certain "Release Update" is applied?Or will the expiration date be extended if I apply "Service Update" after applying "Release Update"? Also, when I check "IFS Cloud" on P4 of "Global Support Policy", ”Restricted Support” is "N/A.If "Continuous Support" expires, will customers using "IFS Cloud" not receive any support?Or will it be automatically shifted to "Restricted Support"?Best Regards,Hiroki Iwakura

Dear @Paul I am in charge of the help desk at NEC, our IFS partner in Japan.In Japan, all customers using IFS9 are in the Restricted Support phase ,and customers still continue to pay for support.Referring to the following URL, we understand that patches released after the end of Standard Support cannot be provided to the above customers, but is it possible to provide customers with patches released during the Standard Support period? Can you tell me how to login to Weblogic Console in IFS10?

We use different ports and you can connect with a little trick. However, I’m still thinking whether this should expose in this forum because as far as I know we don’t have license to use “WebLogic Server Administration Console” within the license mode we have. Only IFS employees can use it to trouble shoot a critical issue but not for general use. If anyone else use the WebLogic Admin Console for any other purpose then it will violate the license. Not sure this has changed now but this was the agreement before. Thank you for your comment. I also know that you should not use “Weblogic Server Administration Console” under license. The reason for asking this question is to support G2166331. IFS9, we were able to grasp “Default Loadbalance Algorithm “ by logging in from the following URL. <http://host_name:7001/console> I wated to know about it on IFS10 and wanted to access “Weblogic Server Administration Console”, so I registered this topic.
