Cool, thank you, Buddhika !I found the corresponding IFS10 version in our IFS documentation server, not exactly what I wanted (a smaller list), but it should serve the purpose of auditing. best,David
Thank you, @Buddhika Kurera,Great summary! Some special order handling processes such as NCNR are popping up constantly, it will be very nice to extend the handling options on top of IFS’ order flow, not only be able to include or exclude the predefined step(s), but also allow conditional control on each step… Anyway, just as Buddhika had suggested, in my case, the combination of a new custom field, an new event, and an event action/handler could be an viable alternative to straight modification of the DB objects. I might try this approach later, hopefully not too cumbersome. ;-)best,David
Thank you, Piyal, My thought is to put the control directly on customer order line object, regardless who creates/changes the line. Permission control in IFS is to map who to what, but not to judge who to what… Not sure... Best,David
NPIALEXLO , thanks, that solved the issue with one of my users.
Yes, PIINKADAM , it turned out to be exactly as the message suggested: Gateway error. In my case, it meant the timeout setting in my load balancer had to been adjusted. Btw, we’re using Oracle OCI infrastructure, so the load balancer setting is part of network setting…
There are additional new parameters in IFS connector reader settings in IFS10, comparing to IFS9, you have to modify the default value for those parameters. In my case, for Connector FTP Reader, changing the security_protocol to none instead of default SSL resolved my issue.
Thank you very much, Gumabs and Thomas !Yes, it’s the issue of the user group, for some reason the group that the buyer belongs to was removed from the posting combination rules. After adding the group back to the posting rules, and rerun erroneous postings, the posting went through successfully… Best Regards,David Cheng
It turned out to be the <ID>, changing to “IFS10DE” worked. Giving credit to Salman Siddiqui from IFS.thanks
Btw, since this is first test, to simplify the scenarios, I tried to installed the print agent in the same server as the MW server, and the service account is local administrator. Thanks
