Thank you both for your quick response, I will follow up if one these help! Thanks again!
Thank you for all the responses but the fix was actually on the event itself. I had to set the event to only fire on the arrival flag and then in the event action look at when the old printed arrival flag = false and new is true. These changes stopped the event from continuing to fire and only fire once eliminating the print error.
Thank you to everyone that has responded to this post. That has resulted in finally getting a solution. Here is what has our query builder now running:run the following:--------------------------------------------declare lu_name_ VARCHAR2(30); pck_ VARCHAR2(2000);begin FOR rec_ IN (SELECT lu_name lu_name FROM dictionary_sys_tab) LOOP BEGIN lu_name_ := rec_.lu_name; pck_ := Dictionary_SYS.Get_Base_Package(lu_name_); EXCEPTION WHEN OTHERS THEN Dbms_Output.Put_line(lu_name_); END; END LOOP;end;-----------------------------------If you get data back you have to change the LU name in the view in the comment section for all invalid lu names, i.e. FROM:COMMENT ON TABLE AGRX1APP.AGR_RESOURCE_EMP_LOAD_CAPACITY IS 'LU=AGR_RESOURCE_EMP_LOAD_CAPACITY^PROMPT=AGR_RESOURCE_EMP_LOAD_CAPACITY^MODULE=CUSOBJ^';TO:COMMENT ON TABLE AGRX1APP.AGR_RESOURCE_EMP_LOAD_CAPACITY IS 'LU=AgrResrceEmpLoadCapacity^PROMPT=Agr Resrce Emp Load Capacity^MODULE=CUSOBJ^'; If you do not g
Hi @ADDMARIAE We are trying to setup for a 6-4 (4-10 hour days) hour schedule. This is our setup. I did notice that the MFG 10 WD day type was set to normal so I changed it to the overtime setup which I hope will address our clocking error. Do you happen to have any schedules that are setup for 4 10 days? Thanks,Anne
Hi @ChaMylesC ,Unfortunately no, IFS is having a hard time figuring it out. They think it might be due to an Oracle version issue (we are on 19c) so I don't know what you are running but I would definitely put up a ticket and you can reference our ticket number G2223598 so they know there is another customer with the same issue. Hopefully with more customers experiencing the problem a resolution can be reached. We just upgraded to IFS10 UPD10 as well. Anne
Hi Rusiru,Thank you for your response. They are not stuck and eventually the reports do print I’m just trying to avoid the background jobs. So where would a implement a delay? Would that be in my event or plsql code? The two reports are not using the same printer but are implemented by the same user.Thank you,Anne
I was able to get this to work thanks to some code posted on this community site. That is greatly appreciated. Here are the steps I took to get it to run:1. Created a label that used the ARRIVAL_REPORT_REP view2. added new report to Arrival Report Report Definition3. Created a custom action in our custom api using the following code:PROCEDURE Print_Arrival_PO_Label__ ( source_ref1_ IN varchar2, source_ref2_ IN varchar2, source_ref3_ IN varchar2, source_ref4_ IN varchar2, receipt_no_ IN number)ISlayout_name_ VARCHAR(2000):='PoRecLabel.rpt'; report_id_ VARCHAR2(2000):= 'ARRIVAL_REPORT_REP'; report_attr_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; parameter_attr_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; distribution_list_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; instance_attr_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; print_job_id_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; printer_attr_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; printer_id_ VARCHAR2(2000):= 'ZEBRA_RECEIVING'; result_key_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; attr_ VARCHAR2(2000):= ''; BEGIN--get attributes needed from (create new schedule report
Thank you Chanaka Amarasekara in addition it appears that after I did a db copy from our production environment to our COR environment I forgot to repoint the Crystal Web Service instances in the system parameter to our COR crystal Web service. All the combined fixed the issue. Appreciate the quick response!
Great, that should help show that this is just not an isolated issue. What oracle version are you on? We are on 19c. Merry Christmas to you as well!
@johnw66 No, I had to reach out to IFS support. I will update this thread when I get a resolution.
Hi Rusiru, Thank you for responding. I did verify that the user has access to the time card and the navigator design was published. In doing some further investigating I discovered the following in the attached. You will notice in the screen shots that the My Time Card page in my permission set is set to Available. In the second screen shot for the other permission set the page is not available. I don't see where I can set this page to Yes. Can I assume this is why the other permission can not see it in the navigator?
Thank you for the explanation. I think 10 will definitely be a game changer for us when it comes to tech service.
We are on IFS9 looking to upgrade to 10 next year.
