@matt.watters, are you aware of any checkboxes that need to be checked? Also, we’re on apps 10 UPD 14.
@klorimer, @asmackenzie We still get DLL errors but not as often. This is what we check when we remote into a users computer:Is IFS pinned to the taskbar? If it is, unpin it. We noticed not all users can pin the icon to the task bar. IFS is saying this is a windows functionality so we don’t have an answer for why some can and others can’t. If the application is pinned, this hasn’t been verified BUT I’m assuming that the version pinned to their taskbar hasn’t been updated, meaning the manifest is old. Again, this is not verified, I’m just trying to make sense out of it. We had the same users getting DLL errors weekly, sometimes multiple times a week and the common thread was that IFS was pinned to the taskbar. After the user unpins OR the user verifies that it is not pinned, have the user restart their machine. After the machine is back online, tell the user to NOT open IFS. Remote in and execute the following command in CMD window as administrator rundll32 %windir%\system32\dfshim.dll
If you reference within IFS, any date field that is searchable has a down arrow listed. If you scroll down, those #%# values are built in IFS functions that give you a certain date/time.
You should be able to do the same thing with the individual lobby elements if you put #TODAY# in the title of the element. In the example below, I put #NOW# that displays a date/time in my lobby element.
We are using Apps9 at the moment, but upgrading to 10 soon. Thank you for your suggestions! We’re just confused that the document text connected to the customer orders tied to a shipment, still shows up on the collective invoice but the document text attached to the header of the shipment does not. Great suggestions though. If we can’t get it to work as a document text output we will probably try a read only field so we can pull it into our reports.
Hey @william.klotz! Thank you for the screenshot! That was exactly what we were missing.
Hi @pwlm! That pointed me in the right direction! I logged in as app owner and I was able to see it. It turns out it was a permission issue. Thank you for the suggestion!
@ShawnBerk Thank you for the suggestion to inactivate the supplier for purchase part records as well! We’ll definitely take this into account going forward.
