Oracle 'Bad Depth Indicator' error in IFS10

Hi Erik (@magnum80 ), I have worked in a similar case which was reported to IFS. I think commenting my detail findings will be helpful. Some of the wording little bit similar to the answer you have already received. The “ORA-64610: bad depth indicator” error was recreated using a custom menu and “Execute online SQL” event action in one of the IFS internal environment. After around 3 hours the oracle error was unabled to recreate. It’s hard to say how the issue was resolved. The same steps were followed to recreate the issue in the different IFS internal environments. But I was unable to recreate the issue as on demand. First part of this reply I write summary of my investigation. Excel Data Migration tool

Hi @eqbstal , Could you please try below. Close all the opened excel applications. Go to installed program list in the control panel, then uninstall the ‘IFS Data Migration Excel Add-in’. Hi @Jason_beth, Have you done any modifications recently in the mail reader configuration? Did you notice any error message or warning with the emails which were not received? How to add Lobby Element Icon?

Hi @baris.halici , I just try whether we can do this. You can achieve your birthday surprise using below steps. First I created a image using paint. Then saved the image in a shared location where any one of your company have the access. Image creation Then created a List element (Size will matter. Here I used 2x1) and added the data source who has the birthdays. Then as mentioned in the below red arrow pasted the shared location URL with to the “Custom Image URL:” section. Ex: \\sanmlk1\S\image\cake.jpg List type - Element designer Now you can add the created element to the Lobby page. Birthday element in the Lobby Hope this will help you to create a birthday lobby element :)

Hi @KHALIDU , I tested this issue and I didn’t encounter any issue. The steps are mentioned below. This is how I save the data in the database. Quick report View Report Export to excel - (Here leading zero can be visible) By default “Number Stored as Text” If I change above to “Convert to Number” then only I can see what you have seen in your issue. Custom menu condition

Have you tried belowMINIMUM_QTY % For example, if I need my custom menu to enable only when ‘Catalog No’ has a value I use the condition CATALOG_NO % ‘%’ defines any value. You need not put equal sign before the ‘%’.

List of value window shows duplicate columns

I hope your IFS Application’s update level is between 7 and 14. The existing behavior in your IFS Application’s update level by default shows you extra columns which were related to the reference type custom fields. Even though those seems like unnecessary fields to view, those fields are stored in the database. We believe that those should not visible for users while they are continuing their daily work. Therefore, you can avoid visibility by following below steps. If you have more users who facing this issue, then you can add below correction to a base profile and assign it to those users. Below is an example of LOV which shows database values of Contract and the Part No. List of values with duplicate column RMB (Right mouse button) on the column names in the LOV > Properties Go to Table tab > Then Untick all the columns which should not visible to the users > Apply > Ok After removing duplicate columns Hope above workaround is clear and help you to fix the issue.
