I have downloaded the above apps from the google play store and entered the required re-direct url in IFS Middleware Server Admin Console. On clicking on the App and logging in when the login page appears I eventually get the following message: An error has occurred Application MaintEngApp is not enabled in the system. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the issue. I have looked on the TAS Server and cannot see the app listed.
That worked for me when the report is built in IFS Report Designer. The only way I can see is to create an IAL with the information required and then adding this IAL to the Crystal Report. Unfortunately, although it works in Crystal Reports but when the report is added to the Purchase Order Report Definition and then select a Purchase Order and Print I receive an error that the TEST_IAL view does not exist. If I open PL/SQL and run: SELECT * FROM ifsinfo.TEST_IAL I can view the data without any issues. Am I missing a GRANT or something else?
@James Ashmore Thank you so much for the information. After adding the redirect url instead of failing on hitting Connect I was presented with a IFS Aurena Notify 10 login page. On entering the user/password combination I received the following error: An error has occurred Touch Apps Server version 10.5 is not compatible with server version 10.6.0.0. Have a nice day. John
@Rusiru CR_WEB_INIT had been added to the report when logged in as IFSAPP. If I try creating a report when logged in as IFSSYS. After adding ACCOUNT to Selected Tables I located CR_WEB_INIT and on trying to add the IFS_WEB_USER login was displayed which Set to Null checked. I left this and clicked OK but on doing so the following message was displayed: Failed to retrieve data from the database. Details: ORA-20106: CrystalWebUtil.NOACCESS: You do not have privileges to use the “Crystal_Web_Util_API.Cr_Web_Init” operation for “Crystal Web Util”. What user should be used when creating Crystal Reports? And, is this the reason no data is being displayed even though CR_WEB_INIT was added to the report created logged in as IFSAPP?
@Rusiru logging in as IFSSYS in Crystal Reports and running the report no data is displayed.
@Banu Liyanapathirana I have finally located it, please ignore me.
@Banu Liyanapathirana So sorry, I was prompted to add this yesterday but failed to locate the CRYSTAL_WEB_UTIL_API in the data source connections tree. Neither was the CR_WEB_INIT?
Just a quick update to advise that I have managed to resolve my issue with regards the parameter by creating the Crystal Reports parameter with a @ prefix. Many thanks. John
Thank you very much to everyone for your assistance. @Banu Liyanapathirana We are using IFS Applications 10. @CallumW@NickPorter Thank you very much for your advise. By adding the suffix _A the problem has been resolved. Also the system parameter named “Specify if web database access security check is required” is set to “No”. Your help has been much appreciated. John
@FraserT Dependent on the version of IFS you can also create a template that can be used when creating other users.
Dario Thank you very much for your reply I did find the issue and then worked out that ASCII 93 would work. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the QR Code barcode to work with GS1. The ONLY barcode that worked as the DataMatrix. Anway, thank you so much for your reply.
