Hello Need advise, on opening and closing of shop order from previous week or month . Question 1: If shop order is closed for example: in previous week and it gets re- opened to make any changes to shop order, this is giving me material variance in GL in the current period.(ie correction week).But sometime, when a shop order is opened and closed again without any changes to the shop order its still giving material variance again in GL. if there is no change why does IFS gives shop order variance again? and how can we avoid this? Question 2:sometime our we need to update the notes on control plan lines in a shop order, these orders can be old ie previous period, again this is re-calculating material variance.How can we overcome this, is there better way of updating notes on control plan without it impacting the material variance. Dear CommunityWe are looking to set up Group VAT return in VAT, There will be four companies, could you please someone please advise how we do this, we are using BTC software to submit the MTD.For example company 100, will be the main company which will be submitting the VAT return on behalf of the all group, how do we add the other companies to the VAT return. Dear Community We have supplier who have multiple VAT on their invoice, for example ingredients will be 0% VAT but delivery charge or an item will be 20%.How do we process these invoices via posting proposal as once its created via Prelimiary invoice you cannot amend the VAT amount and the only way we know is going to Manual supplier invoice and processing this.Is there better way of dealing with kind of invoices. Dear CommunityWe have customer rebates that they accrued as when customer is invoiced.My question is: when we receive customer claim ie (invoice from customer) this is posted against the rebate agreement. but if would like further analysis ie when invoice is posted against rebate agreement how can make sure the invoice relates previous month or qtr, previous year - as some customer invoice monthly, quarterly or annually for their claim. so we can do view what this the balance accured balance for previous year and be able to run report. Hi We have just activated our supplier invoice workflow module and have come across couple of issues and find some of the rules aren't working the way we would like them to.For all cost/overhead invoice we have PO authorization rule and have chosen to use Inherit Purchase rule, but the issue I have we have MRP related orders for all stock items these sit in diff stat group and we have excluded these from Purchase Order authorisation rule.But now the issue we have is when Supplier invoice do not match PO this these are invoices are going catch all rule, is there anyway when Invoices do not match they automatically go to the person who raised the original PO, for pricing issue.Is there way we can fix this as its causing lot admin time assigning authoriser for these invoices. Hi I have done partial rollback on supplier payment, as this particular supplier did not get paid. The rollback has correctly reversed the supplier payment on the supplier account. But this showing Rollback status as “PART ROLLED BACK” and its has created Parked Payment. How do I clear this parked payment. ThanksSwati
Dear IFS Community I am trying to figure out if there is any way on linking supplier to a GL account code. For example, :If I have supplier invoice let say for say Gas or Electric, is there any way the posting information will automatically populate to GL account code for Gas if I choose the supplier account code for our gas supplier, instead of manually entering the posting information. We have invoices for utilities and transport which will always go to the same GL code and would like to know if I can automate the this option to avoid invoices getting posted to wrong account and save time looking for account number all the time. HiOur accounting calendar is set from 1st Jan. But for 2022 we are changing our accounting period and moving from calender month to 4-4-5.But noticed that there are some periodic allocations that have gone in next year till sept 22. Is it possible to cancel these transaction and than change the accounting period. or will it say transactions linked to this to this period?if this is case how do I change the accounting period.Can anyone please give some help and advise on this. We went live in with APPS 10 in Sept 2021 and our year end if 31st Dec.We want to close 2021 and transfer balances to 2022, We have followed the process to do preliminary Year end, clear cost/revenue, followed another Preliminary year end. Question 1We can see that the balance are transferred to 2022, when we run GL Bal analysis, but when we go in GL Voucher row analysis we cannot see the opening balances, we were informed that is due to the fact we have not done Final Year end Process. How can we view opening balances in GL voucher row analysis. We tried to do the Final Year end, but we got error message , (please see below). Question 2If we do final year end can we re-open the year again and post the final tax journals.As there was no opening balance 2021, we cannot understand the message below.Can you please help and advise. Hi We are trying to do year in IFS APP 10, our first year end since going live in Feb 21. Fixed Assets were loaded in Dec 20 both in GL and well as in FA module. As December 20 had balance in GL we did Q voucher to clear the FA Balances in GL.We couldn't close year end for Dec 20, as clear Cost/Revenue was zero balance. We did preliminary year end transfer from 2021 to 2022. than we tried to clear cost/revenue that when we encountered the following error. (please see screen print below) All this we tried in test data, before we can do this in LIVE.Can anyone please help or guide us how we can clear/fix this error message. Hello Dear CommunityI have slight posting problem and I do not know how to correct posting or what i need to do to fix this and avoid this from happening.Our company is part of multi company. the problem I have is that, we received a supplier invoice from a common supplier, PO was raised on the sister company but invoice got sent to us in error and this got posted on the supplier account but created a IP13 posting, and just to add to this, this invoice got paid and is in posted paid state.How can cancel or create contra to clear this transaction from my GL account as now I have difference in my Aged Debtors and GL report they do not agree.I would really appreciate if anyone has similar issue or how you have fixed this. Hi there I have created employee payment in full, but I need to reverse this payment, can anyone give me any guidance as to how I can do this, as its already posted voucher type S to Sundry creditors.When try to delete this do not give me option to delete as its says “you are not allowed to delete Authorised, Paid or transferred payment.”How do I correct this entry as its was done in error. Currently our Purchase Price variance for all stock item is getting posted to one GL Account, but we would like to spilt/capture PPV for consumable items that are stock item, these can be identified by commodity group.I would like to change the posting control/type so that the PPV for consumable will get posted to new PPV account.How do achieve this, and what control type do I need to use link this PPV (with commodity group) to diff PPV for posting type M19/M20.
