IFS has asked us to change a value of the Currency Difference on Tax Localization control center parameter. Does anyone know where to find this?The purpose is to rerun Customer Invoices In Error when they are missing posting lines.
The below issue description simply must be a bug, does anyone know the bug-ID?We just upgraded from IFSAPP10 UPD3 to UPD17. Since the upgrade a few Customer Order invoices get stuck in state Printed. Analysis results in the conclusion that two posting rows are missing, neither VAT posting nor the AR-account posting are present. Consequently the error message is that the balance in accounting currency is above the set tolerance level. This has happened to twelve of 53 invoices for seven customers, never more than two one day, not more than four to one customer. Only one customer has only one invoice during this period, all the others have several invoices with successful postings.

For some reason someone has entered Tax ID Types with no definitions for some European companies.This causes a minor but annoying error in that Tax ID Type is mandatory when entering Tax ID No against customers and suppliers from these countries.The list is global so it has effect on all companies in the database. Very annoying as small issues can be.Is there any way to change the set-up so that Tax ID Type is no longer necessary for these European countries?
After creating a purchase blanket agreement we try to enter a document text to make the supplier aware of the blanket agreement price in order to avoid misunderstandings. We expect this document text to appear on the PO printout, but it doesn’t.We have tried to make document texts both on Supplier Agreement header and on Supplier Agreement item row but none of them will appear on the PO printout. The Output Types Documents selected are 6 - Purchase Order and 14 - Purchased Parts.To verify the document text functionality we have tested adding document texts manually on the PO and it works fine. But we would prefer to have the texts automatically transferred from the agreement to the PO when the order is created.Any ideas?
When closing an accounting period we receive the Validation Transactions warning that there are External Supplier Invoices waiting to be created. But after thorough investigations we have come to the conclusion that all external incoming invoice messages are in the status Created, and so are all invoices in the External Supplier Invoices window. There are no failed external files.For the previous period there was no such warning message and if we close the following period there is no warning message either.We can only draw the conclusion that the warning message is wrong. But what triggers it?Any ideas?We are in the process of upgrading to IFS APPS 10 UPD 17. The issue is in our database for verifying the upgrade.

When supplier invoice payments are sent the ISO20022 pain-file is created with a /1 as a suffix on the supplier invoice number (not all of them, strangely). This causes issues when the CAMT053 file is loaded because then IFS Applications cannot find the invoices automatically and the AP Department needs to spend time identifying the invoices manually.Any ideas folks?
We have set up Segmentation Criteria for Payment Order and Customer Payment. The two segments transfer OK, we get two separate Mixed Payments that are OK. But the remaining transactions gets transferred with the total sum of the external payment, i.e. not the sum of the remaining transactions. As a result, the Mixed Payment will try to create a parked payment for the residual. What do you think? Is this something we can fix with some basic data setting or is it a bug?
For quite some time now we have been struggling to get the ISO20022 pain.001.001.03 file to transfer Plusgiro payments for us. Danske Bank has told us not to use the combination SESBA and 9600, but to leave these both fields blank. It all sounds simple enough but we just don’t seem to get it right anyway. Any clues?
We use Applications 10 and have received logotype picturefiles in the png format. These logotypes are drawings in different colours combined with a text in black. The part of the logotype files that are blank are see-through. When printing the pdf invoice reports the logotype is printed so that the see-through parts are black. This is not wanted of course. We have tried several times to find a way to get the see-through parts printed as see-through on the invoices but to no avail. We do get gif files as see through, but the quality of those printouts is abysmal.Any recommendations?
We are about to implement CAMT054 with Danske Bank and we run into issues when our customers use credit invoices in their payments. We have situations where reported faults may need quite some investigations before the origin of the error is identified. In such cases we wish to be able to enter an intermediate pre-posting against the work tasks which will be updated once the true cause is identified.In the normal case this is not an issue, but at year end we will want these intermediate work task cost postings to be posted to the balance sheet. Is there any way we can do that to just selected work tasks or is there a clever way to do it? We do not want all our work task postings registered as WIP.@Thommy : Would you have any input on this?
IFS Applications Cloud creates the output Direct Debit file (DDNAG) with a space between the invoice series ID and the invoice no. On receipt of the payment confirmation file to External Payments the space is there, just as it was sent. But the file is not interpreted the correct way, it cannot identify the invoices even though they are received exactly as they were sent.The customers are in this case using a service center as Other payer.The invoice series and number intervals are set up correctly in parameters for external payments, i.e. it is not possible to enter the space, just the ID’s and numbers. The invoice identifiers have all been connected to the Message Codes. The tickbox for Allow automatic matching is ticked.If we untick the automatic matching the system will identify the invoices but it still cannot match the invoices. It needs the Installment ID. The installment ID is not a part of what is sent to Nya Autogirot.We have tried creating a copy of the external file templat
How would you record payments to customers in Mixed Payments if you have large numbers of such payments? My customer does not want to record the payments one by one but rather by customer payment order. The problem is that in Mixed Payments there is only the option to record payments against “Supplier Payment Order”. The option “Customer Payment Order” is not present.If we select the payment type “Supplier Payment Order” in Mixed payments it is not possible to connect that row to the Customer Payment Order ID.Process: My customer starts in the window Customer Payment Proposal then creates a Payment Order and sends this to the bank as an ISO20022 payment message, very much like the supplier payment messages.We do not want a separate process for the recording of these bank transactions - we want to do them in the same process we do all other bank transactions.
Trying to send customer invoice to Pagero I receive the error message stated in the heading (Message of type 'APPLICATIONMESSAGE' has no condition rules). What have I missed?
My customer has created a new company in their database and by mistake made it a Template Company. The tick-box Template Company is ticked and it is not possible to untick it, at least not for IFSAPP, the application owner. Is there any risk if we untick the tick-box using PL SQL Developer?Switching the Template_Company flag from TRUE to FALSE?

When our inventory department realises that the serial numbers of a batch of items is wrong they used the standard function for changing serial numbers that use the posting events SERREN+ and SERREN-.The posting events have postings that do not balance if grouped by posting event id:SERREN-M1 - CreditM191 - DebitM3 - DebitSERREN+M1 - DebitM191 - CreditM3 - Credit.To me it seems that the M3 posting should not be there.Has anyone seen this issue?Any ideas?
There is a supplier invoice with several rows that are to be posted to different code combinations with different authorizers.Should it not be possible to authorize your own cost postings in the Posting Proposal window without having to wait for all other invoice recipients to post their costs?
We have a large number of payment transactions in our CAMT053 loads that need manipulation before we can continue the process to finally enter a payment voucher.The Segmentation Criteria found in the window External Payment Parameters looks promising - if we can push all payment order transactions through automatically we will be more comfortable when handling the more time consuming issues.Now the questions:Is there a way we can make the application create a Mixed Payment for only the payment order rows of a CAMT053 load? If not, is there a way that we can create only two Mixed Payments of one CAMT053 load? One for the payment order rows and the other for all other transaction types?
In the process of setting up basic data for bank charges the first I run into is a supplier invoice payment charge. I create the pseudo code and enter it on the tab ‘Definition of Identifiers’ and the only ‘Transaction Type’ option is ‘Direct Cash Trans’. It is not possible to connect it to the message code ICDT.Is there any a solution for this?
