My customer has created a new company in their database and by mistake made it a Template Company.
The tick-box Template Company is ticked and it is not possible to untick it, at least not for IFSAPP, the application owner. Is there any risk if we untick the tick-box using PL SQL Developer?
Switching the Template_Company flag from TRUE to FALSE?

I agree with Adam,
Updating the the filed from the back end would not fix the issue.
You can remove the newly created company as follows.
Then you can create a new one using the same ID.

I did make a hard update to change the flag and it works just fine.
