Information Message Aurena on Event Action

Hello,  So we have just started making the switch over to Aurena so bare with me as this might be a simple question.  Generally in IEE to create an information pop up all you need to do is use the --lora1app.Client_SYS.Add_Warning method. However, I have realized that this does not work in Aurena. I read through the IFS documentation but I found it rather confusing. I am just asking if someone has an example of them creating a warning or info message on an event in Aurena so I can get some idea of how these are created, I would greatly appreciate it.

Attachment validation on custom event

Hello all,  I am wondering if there is any way to force that a document be attached on a condition of the screen being met? For example we have a Change Request process that is linked to an approval workflow. If the user checks a certain box then that will dictate that this record requires an attachment, if the user attaches the document it will continue down the workflow. Or we can have something after the fact that can check that an attachment is there before it continues down the workflow or stops the process if a document is not there.  This is being built in Aurena, so I can’t use conditional fields.  Is anyone aware of anything I could try or build to get this working?  Thanks, Eli

Custom Event Project to Project Totals tab - Access denied

Hey everyone, I am creating a custom event on the Project screen that will make the Project Totals tab ‘Manual POC’ field an automatic zero is a Project is in a certain Project Group. This is dictated by a custom field checkbox. I have debugged the ‘DO’ action of the Manual POC field and it requires (info_, objid_,objversion_,attr_,’DO’) In attr it requires Company, Project_id, Ledger_id(That is always ‘*’), Manual_POC(That will always be ‘0’ when this action runs). I have created the action to run after the Accounting_Project table gets a new Project_id, Company, and Project_group data. Recreating a .report file operational report

Hello all,  Odd question here. I have a fully custom operational report that was built by a contractor who left the .xsd, .rdl, and .rdf for the report but he did not leave the actual .report file. It was requested to pull in another table and change the parameters on the report to pull in different information.  I am by no means an expert in IFS Developer but I did create a new report file and tried to manually add in what I needed into the rdl but after messing with it for a couple weeks called it quits. I have also tried to just recreate what I could figure out manually from the code to pull in the tables but I was getting lost in understanding what was linked up to what in the diagram.  So what I am asking is for help in trying to recreate the report file with the files I was left.  If anyone has any ideas feel free to let me know. I have attached the code in case anyone was to look at what I am dealing with.  As always, thank you for the help! Eli

custom event - create supplier - request for order quotation

Hi all,  I am new to creating custom events and a novice when it comes to PL/SQL. Add custom button - Shop Floor Workbench

Hello all,  Is it possible to add a custom button to the Shop Floor Workbench? I have IFS Developer and some developing experience in Java, .Net and the like. I am just curious if this can be done as I was not able to find anything in the technical documentation on whether or not this was possible.  As always, thanks for the help! Eli

Customize Parameter on Order Report

Hello,  I have looked at most topics available on this and am still at a loss so I thought I would try asking for help here.  I have a custom operational report(ran from the order report window) created by a contractor who is no longer working for us. I have the .xsd, .rdf, and the .rdl file for this report. I am trying to understand how I can customize this report to pull in a different view and also to change the parameter the report is asking for. I have read that there might be a .report file I am missing, is that the case here? I’ve also read about generating model files and things like that...I have never created a custom report before but I do have IFS Developer Studio but am struggling to understand how to use it in this case scenario and like usual the IFS tech docs are not very useful for beginners.  Thank you for all your help,  Eli Williams

Only one Charge on Invoice report; should be multiple

Hi all,  I have a customer order that has two charge lines.  Only one the top charge type is appearing on the Invoice operational report. I am using the stock IFS fields for the Charge_type and Charge_Description on my report. Is there a way for me to show both on the customer invoice report? Thanks,  Eli Williams

Error while Deleting a Site

Hello,  I am trying to delete a Site and keep having this error pop up. I am having difficulty tracking down where this data may be. I am currently running a script to find all instances of “10013” in the database to see if there is anything else I need to scrub. Could anyone lead me in the right direction for why I can’t delete the site? I try to delete the calendars first and that is when the error pops up.  Thank you,  Eli Williams

Delivery Statistics - Custom Field Based on Date

CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP Company Information

Hello,  I am trying to add our company information(COMP_ADDR_1, COMP_ADDR_2...) to the Customer Invoice report. The report seems to be pulling in some of the address but not all so I am trying to track it down where I will need to input that data. We have many different sites with a lot of different addresses so I am trying to pull all this information in automatically from IFS. Here is where the company address information is located but does anyone know where this pulls from inside  of IFS? I don’t see any type of company addresses located on the Customer Order. I’m also not very good at trudging through the api as I found the field in there but it didn’t make much sense to me. Anyway, as always thank you for all the help. Eli Williams

NON Logo Images for Order Reports

Hello, I am new to IFS Report Designer. I read the documentation for the images for Order Reports and it is relatively confusing for me. For instance I am trying to add a NON logo image to the Order Report LASER_PRINT_CHECK_REP. I do not know where to upload images in IFS for my image to print at runtime. The current image path for the logo is /tns:LASER_PRINT_CHECK_REP_REQUEST/tns:LASER_PRINT_CHECK_REP_ARCHIVE_VARIABLES/tns:VARIABLE[tns:NAME='rhSysLogo']/tns:VALUEBut I have no idea where or how to find where that image is stored. Is the only way to add images for reports through the Aurena client or is there another way? Can you add via a normal file path like “E:\\folder/folder/image.gif”? I’m not sure why I find this so confusing but adding an image seems to be very confusing from the documentation for me.  Thanks for all the help,  Eli Williams

FND_Stream_TAB must be declared Error

Hello, We are popping up a message via PL/SQL off of an event in a custom menu. Every account except for IFSAPP is getting this error when the RMB is executed. We are using ADFS for the users to log in and I am not sure if it’s because it is having an issue with getting user information now? Below is the PL/SQL block. Custom Field Blank

Hello,  I have been working through creating custom fields for the ProjectBalance LU I am trying to have Category1_id, Category2_id, and DEFAULT_CHAR_TEMP all from the Project LU added as columns. I added all 3 fields successfully but they coming up blank. These are supposed to be read-only fields as well. Both Category2 and Char Template are using referenced fields and then I tried to use SQL to pull in the data but either way it is coming up blank.  Does anyone know why or can lead me in the direction to figure out what might be going on? Thanks,Eli
