Hi,is there some information how Falkonry AI could be utilized by IFS customers using Apps10? The news about acquisition has been shared by IFS in today’s newsletter.
Is there a way to get a list of saved queries (with the query string) from Apps10?How could it be achieved?
Hi,IFS developed a workaround for us to improve performance to display large amounts of data by using Materialized View (MV). The MV refresh job runs every hour to keep the data reasonably fresh for users. The Light Cleanup job should run every 10 min. It normally takes around 3-4 seconds but when the MV refresh background job is running, the Light Cleanup is taking about 30 min. - a major change. Do we have someone here who could explain why the Light Cleanup execution would increase so dramatically? What can we do to mitigate it?Sometimes, the MV refresh also gets killed by the Light Cleanup. A similar case is in this useful thread:For clarity, we have Managed Cloud Services with Apps 10, so not much access to the DB. Our case with Platinum Support is not moving fast enough and consulting is prioritizing other topics at the moment, hence my question in the Community.
Hi,I may be missing information, so please help me understand the situation. In one of the posts, there is information that IEE opens lobby links in a light version of Interne Explorer (not configurable). Since the support for Internet Explorer 11 ended on June 15, 2022 and Edge is recommended as a replacement, is there a plan to make a change to lobby links, so that they open in a supported browser? What to do with the errors that users get currently when clicking in a link in IEE due to the browser incompatibility?
Hi,do we have someone here who happens to know how to fix a layout issue for some users?I highlighted below the effect that some users see - form fields covering tabs. The issue is that the Admin who is able to help normally, cannot see this issue, so cannot move the elements around safely.Any ideas?
Hi,we have an “alarming” red color for the Refresh Dictionary Cache. The user who is normally uploading permission sets has among others FND_ADMIN permissions, so we thought this should be enough to successfully refresh the dictionary cache. However, the user cannot succeed with that - the color does not change successfully. There is also no error message. No UI feedback.Do we have someone here who could help? IFS Support is silent so far.The user wrote:I have tried going through all the permission sets and refreshing the dictionary cache as instructed by IFS, and I have also tried to refresh it via Refresh Server Cache. Nevertheless, it is still marked as red and remains unrefreshed. How do I solve this? This is a problem in non-prod and prod environments. It behaves the same for all permission sets.
Hi,Is there a trick to dynamically change scheduled quick report file names, for example to include the date of the run YYYYMMDD_HHMM_MyQuery.xls?Some time ago there was a discussion on dynamic parameters for scheduled quick reports, but it does not cover file naming.
Hi,if we want to enable history logs for changes related to, for example, Routing Rules, System Settings, or Users, User Groups and Permission Sets, how do we identify the right table in the tree view in Setup History Log view? IFSAPP10
Hi,Has there been some training or good practice workshop for system administrators? We are currently using IFSAPP10 SaaS and hear internally that more understanding of some administrative topics would be needed as the technical documentation is not always sufficient.Do you have some resources that you could link here? Thank you.
