My client wishes to use different Tax Id Numbers for different countries. The IFS functionality provides this option. However, it seems only to work if the Customer is set up to be TAX and not if EXEMPT Are there any way where possible to use different Tax Id’s when using a combination of EXEMT tax liability and a Calculated Tax Code? HiWe will like to exclude “Estimated Material Cost (From Inventory Part) in the calculation of cost set 3 - Latest Purchase Price.(IFS is fetching Estimated Material Cost, if Latest Purchase Price is 0). The function in “Copy Estimated Material Cost from Inventory Part” does not seems to have any effect to this.Any help in this matter is highly appreciated. Kind Regards Brian
HiWe do experience a problem in the Intrastat reporting, where the price is fetched from the invoice before discount is deducted. IFS help is saying that it is after discount. However, the invoice does carry the price of 375,65 and the discount must be deducted to have the correct unit price and total. How can this be solved? Regards Brian
Hi.For the Posting Type PP3, it is possible to use AC2 Preposting as Control Type!If Customer Payment is used in combination with Discount Amount, how do we enter a Preposting?In this view, Preposting seems only to be available for Payment on Account. Are there any other way, where a Preposting for the discount can be entered? Have tried to enter it on the matched invoice/order. However, it does not do any difference. Any ideas? When entering a Direct Cash Transaction in Mixed Payment, the system will only allow a max of 39 lines entered under Manual Transactions. Efter that, it is not possible to approve the payment.Is this a well-known limitation or a bug? Regards Brian Sandfeld
HiWith Weighed average as cost principle. We have a request from a customer, where they don’t want the extra cost from a repair to increase the inventory value of the parts being repaired... Does IFS have any methods to handle this? The cost of labour etc on the Repair order, should be posted to a specific Repair cost account in the p&l. Any good ideas?Brian
The documentation for validating EU tax numbers are suppose to be stored for documentation purpose. IFS is able to do the validation in the VIES database, but does not store the Validation ID for documentation purpose. Have anybody found a solution for this and does IFS obtain a validation ID when requesting in the VIES database?
HiWe are facing a problem when RMA without an order connection. The Inventory part is Cost pr Lot Batch and Zero cost not allowed. There has never been any transaction on the part before. (Migrated from the old system)When receiving the goods on the RMA line, we have an error that Zero cost is not allowed for the part. My expectation was, the the cost would be fetched from the estimated cost on the Inventory part. How can we solve this, in order to return these parts? Regards Brian

HiDoes IFS have any kind of approval process for changes to supplier bank accounts. We are searching for a method, where two users must approve a change of a bank account, before it is being valid to use.
HiWhen changing the Tax code on an External Voucher line, the system does not recalculate the tax amount automatically.In the IFS10 version, it was possible to add/change the tax amount manually. This option does not seem to be possible in IFS Aurena. What is the idea/functionality behind this? Regards Brian
Hi Does discover the following problem, that looks to be a bug in IFS 10 and Aurena:When trying to change a code part value on the loaded external voucher I get the following message: When looking at the help in the External Voucher Basic Data, this text is shown: However, If i do check the External voucher (before changing the codeparts) and now try to change the code part i get this error: It seems impossible to change the values, even the text does state it to be possible.It looks to be a bug? When doing the Final posting from Posting Proposal in IFS Aurena, I do not have the option of choosing the Voucher date.When doing exactly the same action in IFS 10, (Same Invoice), I do have the option of changing the Voucher date. How is this done in IFS Aurena?
Hi Having an issue concerning Advance Payment Invoice in Aurena and IFS 10.17The related order is having diffeent delivery types (GOODS / SERVICE) and by creating the Advance Pay Invoice , we are being asked to enter a tax code manualy. The customer is based within EU and the tax is suppose to be calculatet.If the “Apply Tax” buttom is selected, it is only possible to enter real Tax codes and not calculated Tax codes.If the “Apply Tax” is not selected, the invoice will fail as we have Tax Validation on transaction level activated on the company.. We discover a problem concerning mandatory preposting on customer orders in Aurena.The normal Preposting box simply does not pop up, as it use to do in other versions of IFS. The functionality is ok on Work tasks, but not on Customer Orders. Are there any reason or work around for this?

In order to differentiate packing material and raw material costs on produced items, I will like to receive packing material with a different Cost bucket ID than other raw materials(usually received with bucket Id 110).For the packing material I intend to use a different Part Cost Group and direct it to go via a new Purch Template to Cost Bucket ID 110-1.However, it does not work and a receipt of a purchase order will still have cost bucket 110 (not 110-1)Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem and have items with different Part Cost Group to land in two different buckets?There seems to be an “Override Flag” on the Cost Template. But it seems impossible to activate it!Would that make difference and how is it activated? Thanks in advanceBrian
