23R1 Report rule Check In To Document Management

We are using report rule Check in to document management. This worked fine in 21R2. We recently upgraded to 23R1 and it is no longer working. Is anyone else having issues with this in 23R1 SU1?I also set up a test in demo env, where it is also not working. IFS_QUERY_TIMEOUT setting

What is the right way to set the IFS_QUERY_TIMEOUT to not change when a pod is restarted.I see below in documentation, but i’m not sure exactly how to do this, and when.At the moment we have tried in ifscloud-values.yaml, is this right?:ifsappconnect: connectQueryTimeout: 60 queryTimeout: 60 IFS_QUERY_TIMEOUT 5m Default timeout for data retrieving requests. Supports 10h10m10s format. Should be less than or equal to IFS_MAX_QUERY_TIMEOUT. Overrides the general timeout specified by IFS_STATEMENT_TIMEOUT for data retriving requests. (can also be set via ifsappodata.queryTimeout installation parameter) If not set then 30 seconds. Default timeout value specified for a data retriening request is set as 5 minutes. If other: default timeout for a data retrieving request will be changed according to this value. YesNot Recommended

21R2 Application Monitoring Console Details

When trying to show details of a record in Application Monitoring Console, no records are ever shown. How does this Details page work? Is it not working in IFS Cloud anymore?

Aurena native scan it SSO login

Looking for information on other projects using scan it with SSO login.We have enabled SSO login with IAM client to AD FS server at customer site.When they use this on Scan It from iPhone device (clicking the blue button) they get prompted to enter credentials.If they do it again, they get prompted for credentials again. Is there a way where it can “keep” the credentials so that it does not require you to re-enter your credentials? Similar to how it works on a laptop and SSO sign in?Also, is there anyone having experience using Mobile Device management through company? Like Xen Mobile, mbm etc for app distribution. If so, which type and is it working ok for you?

IFS Cloud 21R2 copy TEST to DEV

Login Events screen not logging

IFS Cloud 21R2 version has a Login Events screen, that logs when users logs in to system. This screen is logging data in all environments except one of customer’s use place environments. Is there something that needs to be turned on for this screen to log information?

Scheduled tasks not running after copy of DB

A IFS Cloud 21R2 environment was cloned from PROD to TEST and after the clone, the tasks are not automatically running in TEST env.So far we have checked that oracle batch jobs are running and job_queue_processes is set to a high number. Any other ideas what to check?

SQLTimeoutException: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation

We have an interface, sending in 1000s of messages through connect to application messages, and about 10 - 15% ends with error:ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$PermanentFailureException: Request has been aborted or timed out Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.UserAbortException: Request has been aborted or timed out Caused by: java.sql.SQLTimeoutException: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation Caused by: oracle.jdbc.OracleDatabaseException: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation We have three connect pods set to 1 minute time out. What could be a reason for this to happen?We are on 23R1 SU6.

ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called

We are on 23R1 SU6.We have a custom integration sending in 1000s of messages through CONNECT to application messages updating Work Tasks. There is 3 connect pods running, and the application message queue runs in Parallel.Application message is calling a procedure, and out of 19000 messages, 233 calls ended up in error (application message is processing fine, but running the business logic causes the error, which we are catching and saving into a separate table):ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being calledWe know that no one was deploying anything to make any package invalid. What else could cause this error to happen? Is there a good way to troubleshoot? Any way to know which package it is referring to?

Change of IFSINFO pwd

IFS Cloud 21R1 environment.The IFSINFO pw is not listed in the custom_values.yaml file but we need to change the password.Is the IFSINFO pw hardcoded anywhere that may cause the account to become locked if it is changed?

Extend timeout in java.sql.SQLTimeoutException

In IFS Cloud, how is it possible to extend the java.sql.SQLTimeoutException setting?We are experiencing this timeout when receiving an application message through IFS Connect, and it kicks off a plsql method, that is taking a while to run, so the application message times out before it is done.

Limit on application message queues?

We are setting up custom IFS Connect queues in our project, and are wondering if there is a recommended limit of queues to add. WHat potential issues can we run into if we add too many new ifs connect queues?This is an 21R2 project. Soon to upgrade to 22R2 or 23R1.

Disable IFSADMIN account

Is it needed to keep the ifsadmin account active in an IFS Cloud installation? After customer has setup users that has admin access, they want to disable it. Do we need to also remove this entry from the yaml file then, or is the account needed from the pods for some reason?This is a Remote Deployment.

Apps10 downloading dll's after delivery installation

WHen installing a delivery and then signing the F1Mage a new manifest file is created and downloaded on users laptops the first time the access the application after the delivery. This then prompts all DLLs to be re-downloaded even though no dll files are changed.Is this how it is supposed to work?

Client Session date/time source

Where does the session time come from? Is it DB server time? Or VM where kubernetes is installed? We’re trying to figure out how to get it to show correct time according to the time zone we are in. It seems to not be coming from DB server.

Monitoring best practice IFS Cloud

In a remote deployment for an IFS CLoud 21R2 installation, what are your best practices to monitor a production environment?In the application itself we can use the application monitoring console.The oracle database can be monitored by oracle tools.What about the middletier? Is there any notification tool that would notify you if anything is not working correctly? A pod that stops working etc.

Print attached documents to specified printer

For customer on APPS10, soon to be on IFS Cloud 21R1, On a work order, is there a way to get attached documents to print to a specific printer?In existing functionality where you can “Print attached documents” from work order guidelines, it will download docman document and then print to the default printer installed on device running the IFS application.Could it be possible to setup so that certain doc classes for example, gets routed to specific printers? Similar to our Printer Definition for operational reports functionality?Any ideas how to create such a modification, or configure it to do that? This is a question i have gotten few times by different customers. For example, drawings needs to go to a certain color printer, while work instructions or other attached pdf documents should go to a black and white printer in a different area. Ideally we would select a RMB, “print work order package” and print all attached documents, and depending on what doc class, send them to different

Analyze Schema and Rebuild Indexes

There are two database tasks DATABASE_SYS.EXECUTE_ANALYZE_SCHEMA__ and DATABASE_SYS.REBUILD_INDEXES__ that should be scheduled.These are not automatically scheduled in the installations i have (IFS Cloud 21R2). Should they have been automatically scheduled on install of the environment?What is the recommended settings for these two scheduled tasks when scheduling them?

IFS Cloud failed logon attempts lock

Is it possible to lock a user account after failed logon attempts in IFS CLoud?In previous releases when a user was still an oracle user, it was possible using oracles profiles. How can this be accomplished for users in IFS Cloud?We are on version 21R2 SU11 at the moment

Quick report and Unpublish option

When a quick report is published, it grants the Projection to all available permission sets.THere is no easy way to “Unpublish” the quick report.I cannot find any option to select a Projection, and then remove access for this projection for several permission sets at the same time. This would be a most helpful feature.My customer (currently 21R2) has hundreds of permission sets, to go in to every single permission set to remove the grant, would take a very long time.

We need to find out how we can check the last login date in the IFS application for a given Active Directory user. How can this be done in IFS Cloud? Currently we are on 21R2 version.

Permission set revoke single CRUD

We have a need for revoking the possibility to create New and Delete, but allow for Update of a record. The example is for the Purchase requisition lines projection in IFS Cloud, 23R1.The Update and Delete are bundled together, so it is not possible to give one and not the other. Is there another way of doing this?

Print agent spooler limit to 100 printers

A print agent is setup on Apps10, using spooler option. 108 printers are defined in the ifs-spooler-config.properties file. Only the first 100 printers gets added to the print agent when it is started. THe last 8 never gets initialized. If one of the 8 “non-working” printers are moved up in the .properties file, that printer now gets initialized and works fine, but another one stops working.Is there a limit to use only 100 printers in a print agent?

How to enable IFS_SECURECONFIG audit policy

In IFS the prepare.sql creates the IFS_SECURECONFIG audit policy.How is this enabled? Can it be enabled from IFS application, or is it enabled from Oracle side?We are on 23R1SU6
