FSM 6 - Extract Rule not triggering

Hi, We have an extract rule on a custom table for mobile that doesn’t appear to be triggering any data out to mobile.A record is getting created. The extract rule for the table looks the same as other tables that are working just fine (e.g PART_NEED).The sync rule looks fine, again as above no different to what we have for PART_NEED.However when a record is created nothing is happening in terms data created to MM_MESSAGE_OUT for mobile to pick up. What can I use to be able to root cause why? i.e. server logging.Or is there a generic have you remembered to do ‘x’? Any directions would be greatly appreciated. RegardsyAdt

FSM Connect - Elements the same value.

Hi, The end point I am wanting to post to is expecting some custom values to be sent with a repeating element name of customfieldname and customfieldvalue. I have three to pass in this example. The XML structure in the log is correct. However the value for the ‘customfieldvalue’ is only picking up the quantity and placing that in the first customfieldname. <customfields> <customfield> <customfieldname>FSM_PART_NUMBER</customfieldname> <customfieldvalue>1.0000000000</customfieldvalue> </customfield> <customfield> <customfieldname>SUPPLIER_PART_NUMBER</customfieldname> <customfieldvalue /> </customfield>

FSM - Send Rota Data MPM

Hi,Currently setting up our Test environment (after a successful DEV walk through) for ARP in PSO.Within ARP we’re generating the shifts, but when using FSM to post the <perform_send_rota_data_to_dse> MPM I am not seeing any file create in our Input History or Input folders. I am not getting an events leading to tell me why, and no exceptions in the server logs. The ARP is enabled in FSM and all appears good with the resources being generated via the Initialisation. Just the MPM failing to do anything than give me a false positive.<perform_send_rota_data_to_dse_result> <response>Transaction Complete.</response></perform_send_rota_data_to_dse_result>But no RAM file created.Cheers Ady

FSM Mobile - Microsoft Patch stops Initialisation (KB5035855)

Hi,Anyone else patched their servers recently and had KB5035855 installed?It’s been installed on our Test and Live Mobile servers, and after installation, the device fails to fully completed an initialisation. Get stuck on the image below. As you can see it says the process has ended, but the device just spins.I uninstall the KB and restart the server. The moment that happens the process completes fully. Therefore, just wondering if this is known at IFS and if others have had a similar issue too? Cheers Ady

PSO - Starting Default Website Error Message

Hi,We have recently upgraded our DEV and TEST PSO environments to V6.12.0.15.All good apart from not being able to have the IFS Scheduling Gateway and the Default Website running at the same time.The previous version V6.8.0.21 we didn’t have any issues. But this came to light with some server patching and the server being bounced. When back up the Gateway service wouldn’t start. The only way to start it was to stop the default website and then start the Gateway.Screen shot below shows the Gateway running, but the error message shown when the default website is attempted to be started. Do it the other way round and the error message is; The binding on https:8744 is in place, and was there before the upgrade and no issues at all.Anyone any idea’s why we’re seeing this, and what implications are there for the default website not to be running? On the server we have the Scheduling Gateway, the PSO Workbench and RestAPI’s would be elsewhere so there would be nothing on the Application Pools

FSM 6 - Web Client - Search area displaying buttons

Hi, We have some users looking to migrate from Smart Client to Web Client. One piece of feedback we have had is that on some screens the ‘New’ button isn’t present on the search area. Meaning they have to go into a record to get the option to create a new record. The above screen shot is from the baseline version of the Purchase Order screen. The New button is present when the screen appears. But when we use a screen we have configured previously the New button isn't there.Is there a simple control for this in the UI Designer, or is that controlled by a Script?Any help is greatly appreciated.RegardsAdy

FSM Connect - Folder Listener importing multiple times

Hi, I have set up an inbound integration to listen to a folder and then import the data from a .csv file.Sometimes it’s fine, then other times i’m seeing the data get duplicated.In FSM going to Integration » Integration Monitor » Monitor Instances and I can see the instances duplicate.Example: Looking at the logs its almost as if the file is still hanging around it gets moved to the processed location, but perhaps not quick enough, so the listener is picking it up again. ARP - Migrate Shift data from ARP to FSM

Hi, Anyone running ARP in PSO alongside FSM?I’m working through implementing ARP and one of the items I’m looking at is after the shifts have been generated in ARP, how to get that data back into the the FSM tables. This is so we can replicate data into the FSM Schedule Board. (I know , I know, I have a 10 year reliance on the FSM SB to break and get users to use the PSO Workbench). But just wondering if anyone has extracted shift data from ARP and populated that into FSM? Cheers Ady

FSM Web Client - Screen loading an error

Hi,Recently jumped from 5.7 to 6u23. I’m looking at specific functions in our business to get them to move away from the Smart Client to the Web Client. One function loads a custom Product screen and in the Smart Client its sound, but the Web Client is showing the following error. Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'childLists') First of all any idea’s what the root cause of that issue might be?Secondly to self review issues like this, does the web client write back to any logs anywhere to be able to go and check? PSO Upgrade - RangeError: Invalid time value

Hi,I have upgraded a test environment to 6.12.0.15.Everything in terms of services etc. are working. However I am having an issue with the PSO Workbench. I can see Error’s stating there is an Invalid Time Value. Everything in terms of set-up sys params etc. have remained the same, but post updated the Workbench is throwing this error and when in the workbench I cannot see Resources, Activities, Events, Applications etc.In the scheduling workspace the time is showing as;I have a regular time update set to go from FSM also to move the day along. Any idea what I have done wrong? Ady

FSM - Contract Version in Request is DBNull

PSO - ABE booking Pre Req activities

Using PSO version 6.8.0.21.Looking at getting Appointment Bookings during some other testing and noticed that a slot was offered when I wasn’t expecting it. I have then gone to test in isolation and noticed the following. Resource 127 will be the only person able to do this job. There is a private activity ending at 15:30 on 5th June.I have 2 tasks being sent to ABE with an activity group as follows <Activity_Group> <activity_id1>5961328</activity_id1> <activity_id2>5961327</activity_id2> <pre_co_req>PRE</pre_co_req> <min_delay>PT0S</min_delay> <same_resource>true</same_resource> <split_allowed>false</split_allowed> <all_or_nothing>true</all_or_nothing> </Activity_Group> The time left at the end of the shift is 90 mins.Activity Id 2 is 80 mins and 1 is 45 mins. FSM 6 - PSO Integration DSE Allocation table

Hi,We’re currently working a project to update from FSM5.7 to FSM6u23.As part of testing we’ve seen that since FSM6u6 that Broadcast Plans no longer update the tasks directly with the allocation data, instead this has gone to a new table called dse_allocation. The task is then directly updated as part of a commit process. Just wondering how other companies have either embraced this, or made changes to get the task directly updated based on the plan. We have a decade plus of Processes, Business Rules and Scheduled Tasks that uses the Task data as and therefore we’d really like to keep it that way for this release. Any information from other users would be greatly appreciated. RegardsAdy

FSM Connect - Order of records to be passed

Hi, We have a process which looks at Part Needs and via a function they are staged for an outbound XML Map to check the stock levels at a supplier.If the staging sets 100 part needs to be checked they will be processed using the part_need.sequence value in ascending order.Is there a control on the XML Map to use a different value to process the order?For example the Promise Date or to look at the related Task and use the Plan Start Date. PSO - Travel Barriers

Hi,I have view and watched the video on the KB Article below.But I am still having issues trying to get some of the bridges to be blocked along the River Thames in London. For anyone UK Based who have an Operations Team who don’t like to send Field Service Technician North or South of the water, have you implemented anything? I’m looking at specifically from Dartford Crossing through to the bridges in Central London, so the DSE isn’t using them. I have in the past queried barriers and believe some have been successfully implemented. I was instructed to use the Blockages section too, shown below. Which then results in the map looking like;Note the red marker on the point I want to block, and also the tail of the barrier going out to sea. Again I was instructed in the past to do this. Getting into central London that is a little bit more complicated, however it’s more steps than what is shown on the video. I wish the barriers were that simple. FSM - PCI Compliance

Hi,I have been through the community and can see posts relating to IFS Apps, but nothing much around PCI Compliance and FSM.I am being asked internally if FSM (current version is 5.7u11, and FSM6) is compliant with PCI v4.0 and if any assessments have been completed. If there has, is there a certificate that can be shared. If not then is that in the timeline to be completed?As a company we do a small amount of transactions via the FSM UI which calls a direct integration api, and we store the response into database. Our internal security team are specifically looking at that transaction with regards to the scope of PCI. Ady

FSM Connect - Pass data as an Array using JSON

Hi,I have a JSON Connection which is 99% there.The extract column ‘channels’ needs to be passed as an array, extract from the API Guide.What do I need to set and where on the XML Mapping so the ‘channels’ extract column is passed as [“SMS”]. Currently it missing the square brackets outside the quotation marks. I cannot add the square brackets to the value as it passes them inside the brackets when triggered. Any suggestions? Regards Ady

FSM 5.7 - TLS 1.2 Protocols

Hi,We're currently on FSM 5.7u11 and trying to force the Server and Client to use the TLS1.2 protocols.Our Infrastructure team has done this via IISCrypto and group policies.Whilst testing we're seeing some of the MPM's return an exception. <severity>ERROR</severity> <message>[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (SECCreateCredentials()).]SSL Security error.</message> We have installed and updated a Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server to use: "Provider=MSOLEDBSQL19" onto the Application server to allow it to communicate with the DB for a specific process.This resolved one issue, but we're still seeing more exceptions when testing in the client and calling MPM's. The feedback we got back from support was that this line of code 'ServicePointManager.SecurityProtocol = SecurityProtocolType.Tls12 | SecurityProtocolType.Tls11 | SecurityProtocolType.Tls;' is what is needed to support TLS1.2, and that it is present in FSM5.7u11.Could this therefore be

FSM - Button to launch URL with variable data

Hi,Just wondering if it’s possible to allocate a URL to a button, and use data on the object i.e. a Task to use when building the URL itself. PSO - Rest API

Hi,I have looked for past questions, and asked on this case around the PSO Rest API’s.I’d be interested to have a look at them. I have installed the service but when launching the browser I am getting a 404 error.Have I missed something on install?Also in the previous post there is a URL (http://localhost/IFSSchedulingRESTfulGateway/swagger/ui/index.html) which is what I’d like to get to, again nothing is loading, just getting a white page for that. FSM 5.7 - Run client in Citrix 2019

Hi,Obviously FSM6 can run the client in web browser, we’re just not there yet, we’re still on FSM5.7U11. But a few years back I was messing around with FSM5.6 and had that running in a web browser instead of the fat client. We’re currently, after upgrading our Citrix OS from Windows 2016 to 2019, having some issues with performance in FSM. Namely ‘Not Responding’ and the screen going blurry as the users wait for the APP-V clients to respond. I have been asked by our Infrastructure team if FSM can be run via a browser. Like I say FSM6 yes. But I’m sure I had a browser version running in 5.6 too, but we left that behind. If if can be run via a Browser, does anyone have any steps to get that set-up?Alternatively if anyone else has updated their Citrix OS from 2016 to 2019, had some performance issues and resolved them, i’d been keen to hear how that was done too. FSM - Three Way Billing

Hi,We currently invoice out 80% of our invoices on a dual billing basis. Where parts are billed to the Insurer and Insurance Excess is paid by the Policy Holder.We have two prospective clients which are asking if three way billing is possible.We’re currently on FSM 5.7 U11, and just starting the discovery process for FSM 6.x.Just wondering if three way billing for one request is something that is feasible in FSM 6. If not are any other companies doing this, and if so how did you get a configure the application to meet the requirements. RegardsAdy
