Hi,I’m trying to figure out how to add custom data fields to a Report.In some of my reports I can find custom fields from a table in the hiaracy fx my shipment delivery note. In that one I can find alle CF from the shipment_cfv view. But for other reports I can’t find any CF’s as fx this on: Is there any way out of this other than asking someone with a development licence?I’m in IFS 9
Hi, If I want to change a customer order line I use this function: Customer_Order_Line_API.Modify__() Some times I need to do it it in a background job. Then I would create a new procedure that executes Customer_Order_Line_API.Modify__() and then start that new procedure with Transaction_SYS.Deferred_Call() from an event. Is there any way to perform this directly without the custom procedure? Best regards Kresten

Hi,I’m trying to raise an error to a Background Job.I have a procedure that is called by a background job.I’ll fetch an object, and sometime it doesn’t exist. Normally because the object is deleted by the user before the job has been run. CURSOR get_Objid IS select objid from project_transaction WHERE objkey = 'BB8A4E9B030B41DDABB62F8381C9DFFD'; OPEN get_Objid; FETCH get_Objid INTO objid_; CLOSE get_Objid; I would then like to handle the exception and have a custom error message send back to the background job. So I use this one: IF (objid_ is null) THEN raise_application_error(-20001,'No value in objid!'); END IF;It works find when running the script in a terminal, but if I run it with a background job I don’t get the error.How can this be done?BR Kresten

Hi,I’m trying to import a bank statement into IFS 9 without any luck.I’m using the external file assistant.When I run the import I get the error: “No unpacked data found, check load file id”, and the log doesn’t tell me anything.I think the format of the import file is wrong. But I’m having trouble understanding how to read the file type.The file type has tree record types:Each record type has a column definition. Here is the one for the HEADER: Do I need to include all tree types in my imput file?Do I need to include all columns when non of them are mandatory?How do I understand the destination column?Is it possible to export an example of how the import file should look like? Hi,Very often we see background jobs in status ERROR with the message “...object is locked by another user.“.How can I handle this in my PLSQL procedure? There is a lock_sys package and oracle has a v$lock table.The lock_sys takes lock_name_ as a parameter. I don’t know what that is.The second includes an ADDR column. I don’t know what that refers to. Can any of this be used to handle this error, by fx postpone the execution of the job if the object is locked?BR Kresten
Hi again,I’m looking for a way to lock project activities once they are released.When a project is released I’m creating a document containing all data from the project to have reference on what was aggred upon when it was released.That will be added as an attached document to the project under revision control.The problem is, the activities are not revision controled, so you can edit the activities after it has been released.Is there any way revision control project activities like we can with order lines or documents?
Hi,I’m looking for a way to lock project activities once they are completed. If an activity gets completed, It gets a completed date. But you can reopen it, an then completed again and then you’ll have a new date. I need the first complete date as a reference.How would you do that?
