Hi, We are interested in using the planned purchase cost in cost set 5.It works good for entities that don’t have Part Step Pricing in their Supplier agreements or Supplier for Purchase part Price lists. We are on ifs10I have understood that when calculating planned purchase cost in this cost set, system will use purchase pricing logic, similar to when you enter a purchase order line for a part no.I also read in another tread that when calculating the planned purchase cost in Costing system will use:the standard lot size as order qty the effectivity date as price date. For some reason we do not get this to work when using price breaks, even if we have the standard lot size on the inventory part.Any one that have any input that could help us? Regards,Marika

Hi everyone, I am struggling to a little with document text and wondered if anyone can help. What I am trying to do is set a document text on specific non-inventory sales part so that any customer orders / invoices that are created using that sales part the document text is pulled through, but when I run a new customer order it doesn’t seem to pull the document text through. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.Hayley
Maybe better to ask, “how is Lot Batch Master” and the Expiration Date field within supposed to work? How does Expiration Date load? I have shelf life setup for the item. Looking at the view, raw data, I see Best_Before_Date does have a value, but Expiration_Date does not.I am trying to understand how IFS works. We need to use an expiration date for our product and thought Lot_Batch_Master was the way to go.For what it is worth, Inventory Part in Stock record does have the Expiration_Date field loaded with proper shelf_life calculated date.IFS version 9.17
is it possible to use functions in advance search - IFS 9
Hi, Is there a way to adjust the delivery date of the postings of goods which you deliver through a shipment? For example: goods are delivered on the 10th of december in 2020 in reality, but in IFS the goods are delivered through the shipment on 19 januari 2021. The inventory transaction which IFS automatically generates when delivering the goods, has an applied date of 19 januari 2021. So IFS considers the goods between the inventory receipt date and the shipment date as inventory. Because of the year-end closing, I aggregated the inventory transactions in the menu Inventory Value per Period. My IFS inventory value is not in line with the real value on 31-12-2020 because of transactions in the example above. I know you can alter the receipt date of goods, with the result that the postings are posted in the right period. But is there a similair way to do this with delivering goods through a shipment? Kind regards, Simon
