Hello, I’m having the same issue. Did you just assign companies to the service user and then data appeared? I’ve assigned companies but am still seeing no data.
Hi LijinWe got it working in the end using utl_http.write_raw but it was messy and took a lot of trial and error testing. Getting the boundaries working properly is one of the most challenging bits of the process.RegardsChris
Thanks Charith, very informative.RegardsChris
Hi ShehanHave you got any examples?I’ve got a simple text file working. The blob is proving problematic though. I’m converting to a base64 encoded clob and the file gets sent but is corrupt at the other end.RegardsChris
Hi ShehanHave you been able to pass a blob as an attachment in the multipart form-data request?RegardsChris
I have got it working. The documentation indicates you should call plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint, pass in a clob and then use documents to create the url parameters. This doesn’t seem to work.if you call plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint2 you can pass in a clob and then use documents rather than records to create the url parameters as per the documentation.
I’ve followed that documentation and as soon as i try to use url_params_ in the overloaded method to pass a CLOB (plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint) IFS complains that i don’t have the correct number of arguments or type.If i omit the url_params_ argument it works. The other overloads for plsql_rest_sender_api.call_rest_endpoint don’t seem to hit the same error.RegardsChris
Hi WimaliThanks for this.Is this in the documentation anywhere? It’s the first I’ve seen of manually adding values to a table on this subject.RegardsChris
Hi SajithIt’s Apps 10 UPD5. On scrutiny of the http server logs I’ve found numerous ‘connection refused’ errors on the managed server ports and also numerous ‘no resources’ errors.IFS have since advised to increase the threads, threads per child and max webserver clients. I will report back with results.Research suggests that streams consumes quite a lot.RegardsChris
Update : The underlying view PURCHASE_PART_SUPPLIER has comments referencing the correct module (PURCH). The view PURCHASE_PART_SUPPLIER_CFV references CUSOBJ. It looks like some corruption has happened within the dictionary cache at some point. To correct, Is it just a case of manually amending DICTIONARY_SYS_TAB so that the LU_NAME PurchasePartSupplier associated module is PURCH rather than CUSOBJ?
Thanks Rusiru.Further scrutiny reveals that the LU PurchasePartSupplier seems to be connected to module CUSOBJ which seems incorrect to me?How can this be corrected?
Hi Dinesh Did you find a solution to this? I have a customer requesting something similar. Regards Chris
Thanks Steve. I’ve found a workaround using text to columns in Excel that seems to work. I’ll have a play with my regional settings and report back any findings for the community. Ideally I’d like an intervention free solution if i can find one. Regards Chris
Hi Steve Does yours validate ok when you first bring it in (without intervention)? Mine doesn’t until I click the field. After that excel changes the presentation of the cell and it will validate. Prior to manually clicking the cell my results column states that the field is mandatory and must be populated (it already is). I’m using CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE. Regards Chris
