@AmilaF what is your setting in Options for ‘Open links from another program’? When set to Start a new Enterprise Explorer I will get a new instance asking for login credentials. When set to Reuse current window, Edge will open and ask if I want to open the file from the server but the original instance of EE will be used. @matt.watters Many Thanks, indeed that was the trick, thanks for pointing it out krAmila
I think it should try to reuse an already running IEE instance, but it will only do it if it was started using a URL (http...) If IEE is started from a network share it will start a new instance. Chrome cannot start ClickOnce applications (which the add-in is), so Windows will use Edge (or Internet Explorer before that was dropped). Thank you @Mathias Dahl I can confirm in our case it is set to start IFS using URL, but unfortunately it starting new instance every time instead of using already running instance.
@Mathias Dahl I do get this mentioned error upon installing AurenaAgent and accessing the User Setting page, but to be honest I don’t know what’s the impact of it to DocMan functionality and etc.. Here with I attached detailed document explain how to reproduce the error, not sure its framework issue. May be the error we received in user settings page have no impact but of course customers doesn’t like to see such error :-) Please let me know if I provide you enough information or I should ask this question in different category. By the way workaround mentioned by @william.klotz didn’t work for me, that is “We used to get the error Certificate is mismatching when we installed the IFS Aurena Agent but we discovered if we save the MSI file to a local directory on the C: drive like C:\Trash if we open a command window then run that command window as Administrator if you install the MSI file now we no longer get that error. An for the most part the IFS Aurena Agent is working as you’d e
Hi All This is just for any one looking solution for the error “Token timestamp does not fall within the acceptable range” could occur when you trying to login with SSO ( ADFS) . it is not an issue with IFS but rather NTP server which is use for clock synchronization,

Hello Thilanka Many Thanks for the reply, we already seen a issue at this customer, where it uploaded file around like 37 MB, and HUB was keep processing that message in LOB queue, ( VSAT connection was fine and normal IN and OUT queues processing correctly ) while it can be seen in SATs the message were received and even processed, but for some reason HUB keeps processing and sending it, so that is one of the reason to know limitation of the document size. If customer have valid business need to send large files to vessels or other way round and no limitation from IFS, then it should work. I understand your comment about available bandwidth, latency, packet loss etc.. , Supposed during transfer of large file ( may be 50 or 100 M) that connection being lost, and I expect the transfer being started again when then connection is back without creating stability issue at Application layer isn't it ? Thanks a lot for feedback about memory usage, I will try to get more information, actual
