Middleware Notification Configuration

Hi @Manashati,When setting up the Mail_Sender, you need to set the "Security_Protocol" value as "SMTP + STARTTLS". This protocol was introduced via the solution 264861 to solve the issue with SMTP host while using "smtp.office365.com" as the Host Name. Please refer to the following Knowledge base article /Ravindu

Hide checkbox using IFS EE ?

Hi @CapAvinaK,We cannot define permission sets at the column/filed level. As a workaround, you can hide the check box from the layout and revoke the permissions from end-users that allow them to make changes to the layout.Hope this helps.  Ravindu.

Export Customer Order Acknowledgement to XML rather than PDF

As per my understanding, your requirement is e-mailing the reports in XML format.If so, you can use the reporting rule to achieve this. Please refer to the following configuration I tested for customer order confirmation.1)            Configure a report rule as follows. (Here I have setup Mail to someone routing address for testing purposes) 2)            Select the printer “Send XML to Connect” when you print the report.  If you need, you can set up this as the default printer from the Printer Definition window. I’ll attach a sample output XML file for your reference. Hope this helps.

restricting user to read-only on a form

Hi @FPayab ,   Click the right mouse button on the presentation object you need to grant. You can see there are two options called “Grant” and “Grant query” If you select “Grant”, the user will be granted permissions to view data along with the ability to add, edit and delete “Grant query” allows the user only to view data.     /Ravindu

Thanks for the reply,   Can you tell me the Port of the Administration Console? I’ve never see it before.   Regards MartinTheBittner   In application10 environment, you can direct to Admin console by appending “\admin” to the landing page URL. You have to log in to this using credentials of the user 'ifs'

Dialog Box not on top

Hi @ivpfred, There is a checkbox called 'Borderless Window' in Tools -> Option -> Advance tab. This should be checked by default, please uncheck this and restart the application.  Try this and check whether this issue gets resolved.  Regards, Ravindu

Hi @MartinTheBittner  Seems like you are having an issue in deployments. Check whether there are any failed deployments using in the IFS admin console. If so, start it and try to log in (please note that it may take some time to start the server). RavinduS.

Visibility of a tab

Hi @asmackenzie  Hiding a tab base on a condition is not possible in the application. You can hide a tab from properties-> layout window and this change will save in user profile but there is no option to add a condition here. Hiding a tab base on a condition is not possible in the application.
