Not really. It was decided that customer is the single point of contact for all the integrations so IFS provided the file to customer using standard SFTP and they transferred it to the bank using 3rd party tools.
All reports are available as projections, so you can search for the report id or report title using projection name and description respectively and grant it accordingly for your permission sets as shown below. Once you granted the reports to your permission set, then you can see all the report grants (including QRs) under Summary → Reports tab for that permission set.
Can we get an official answer for this please?

We cannot do exactly what they suggest or ask for (use environment variablers), but if you leave the field empty we will default to use the user’s “Documents” folder, and create a folder named Docman there, as I remember it. Try and see how it works. Thanks @Mathias Dahl. The empty field resulted in “Documents/IFS/temp” which I will suggest to the customer.
Thanks @dsj and @durette . Yes, java transformers seems to be logical and easy option but just wondered if anyone has done this before so we have a proof. Anyway, we are currently verifying with the bank to see PGP is mandatory or not and based on that we will decide the next step.
Hi, starting with UPD8 you can convert the Aurena projections as integration type REST APIs and utilize them accordingly. A good approach would be to take UPD8 and then investigate on the API explorer page in Aurena.

We use different ports and you can connect with a little trick. However, I’m still thinking whether this should expose in this forum because as far as I know we don’t have license to use “WebLogic Server Administration Console” within the license mode we have with Oracle / WebLogic. Only IFS employees can use it to trouble shoot a critical issue but not for general use. If anyone else use the WebLogic Admin Console for any other purpose then it will violate the license. Not sure this has changed now but this was the agreement before.
That is because someone try to log-in with an invalid username/password.
I wouldn’t worry much as this is an info log message. MWS is managing the fndbas connection pool and whenever it close an existing connection it will write this log entry. If you have any issue with the fndbas connection pool then you will not be able to log-in at all. Sorry, I don’t have a Apps8 environment to verify further.
Do you have any issue with the application or this is just only in logs?
If you are in the IFS managed cloud then your database is not exposed for you to connect directly.
It’s hard to identify the cause with this information. If possible provide more details in logs. Also check whether you have enough RAM in the machine and send the content of the inventory.xml (C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\ContentsXML\).
Not sure whether this will help but may be you can try this for fun. Press and hold the SHIFT key until you get the classic login options dialog (press and hold the SHIFT since you click the EE client link until you get this dialog). Then go to Options and select “Use windows default proxy settings” and press OK.
Are you getting the error after you entered user name and password or are you getting the error even before the log-in window?
The report method (your logic in the rdf) will be executed as the first thing even before you see the printer dialog. In another way, the input for the printer dialog is the data from your rdf and using the printer dialog you can convert that data using the layout you select and send to the printer you want. Therefore, I don’t think it’s feasible for you to do what you are intend to achieve via report method.
By “integrate” if you mean to configure for MAIL_SENDER then yes, you can configure gmail smtp server and send emails using that but mind you that, you must disable the MFA and allow the legacy authentication (which is not secure) in the google account for this to work. You can use the default smtp server configurations from gmail and configure it. I have tested this sometime back and it worked with TLS or SSL (cannot remember exactly). Just configure first with SSL with 465 port or TLC with 587 port and verify. As mentioned above, you must enable legacy authentication as well in the google account for this to work. SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com. Gmail SMTP port (TLS): 587. SMTP port (SSL): 465. SMTP TLS/SSL required: yes
This was confirmed by a colleague in the IFS benchmark team as per the IFS supported platforms documentation. The generic recommendation on having latest available release update revision of the Oracle supported database version is applicable to Oracle 19c as well.

Have you gone through the documentation and configured it accordingly to match the SMTP server configuration? Cross check the port with the security protocol as well because SSL and TLS use different ports.
You cannot define permissions for field/column level using standard permission set functionality. It will only be possible for the presentation object / window level to grant read/write permission and also to control actions like RMB using specific database methods. One possible thing to do is, grant write access to the window and set all other field read only via the profile and left the one you want that use to update. However, this is not a good security restriction and also trickly.
Your message has the “Receiver” as connect which might not be correct with the media code MHS. You can change the “Receiver” to some thing else and make sure that you enter that receiver in “Message Receiver” tab of the setup with a SITE which should pick your messages. If the media code is “INET_TRANS” then the process is bit different as well.

The purpose of the CRYSTAL_WEB_UTIL_API.CR_WEB_INIT is to prevent unauthorize execution of the database statements thus you need to grant permission for the method that you need to execute for the actual executing user. May be you can verify the security permission for the end user?
