One of your questions got me thinking. “How many records in the quick report?” While I have a parameter in the quick report to give me GL records for a given month, the report is based on a custom view which I did not write. That custom view did not have any time limits so it was producing a dataset with millions of records causing IFS to time out. I modified the custom view to only look for current year records and all works fine now.The Quick report view only return a set number of records so I did not see the timeout there, only on the export to excel.
I tried that and rec’d the same error. In the table, there is Contract field, but it is null almost all the time.
There were no blank lines. Here is the full error. ORA-20111: Site.NOTEXIST2: The Site object does not exist.
Thank you, we will look into History Logging. We have not turn that feature on in our system, but it could help us in a number of areas.
I rec’d the report… Thanks
Those links did not work since I am not part of the IFS Sharepoint group. I have recently rec’d the files from Bob Corrigan. Thanks
Thanks Paul, This solution will work well for the Lobby where I needed the drop down.
@johnw66 Yes, the full sql statement is as follows, no where clause.select * from c_pol_gl_sales_cogs_union_mv We want the report to be a complete data dump of the materialized view.
We rec’d the following answer from IFS Tech Support. We have not been able to test it yet, but i wanted to post the answer.Checked with R&D regarding the list of Counselor ID’s for Employee Development Program. The list of counselor id’s is comprised of supervisors with access to the employee. A good place to review supervisors with employee access it the Employee - Access Info form. In the supervisors tab you will see the information.
We have entered an IFS Helpdesk ticket. I’ll respond with their answer once I have rec’d one.
Yellow (Sticy) Notes are extremely important. They are used to alert the user to special circumstances to the record being displayed on the screen. The reason that they are important is that the functionality is available on almost all screens of IFS and that they stand out to the user, not a little “Notes” checkbox, but an in your face alert. What would enhance the functionality:Have them stored in the database where they can not be easily erased and where they can be retrieved for later use. Enriched text would be a nice to have, even if it is only limited to the options in this comment box.
