Terming it as ‘Toggle on’ Or ‘Enable’ would fit. Personally I see it as a switch or toggle button.
Thanks Bjorn
Definitely interested. Subscribed as mentioned. We are looking to increase our exposure to DocMan in tandem with Change Management in the next calendar year.Kind Regards,Alex
It is a frustration. Before our update and cleanse we had as many parts obsoleted due to incorrect or outdated UOMas parts that were live. The only time you can change UOM is via master part with no stock/ history/ transactions or orders linked. So only can be caught and amended at the very start of the process.
Hi Mike, I like the idea of the log history. I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks for your insight. Alex
Is my interpretation correct, that you are trying to drive a push Structure? We use the scrap factors currently to determine the ratio of which how many sub-assy’s we require based on a customer order of the top part. I guess you’d have to amend the formula from Pull ( demand at the top, pulls from bottom up) to Push (Manually generation of Shop Order Pushes up)? Do you agree?
We have found overlap creates a much more sensible result than parallel ops for our automated/ semi automated lines. When used in conjunction with one another the results seem odd. Using the document above to guide the use of overlaps matched the line runtime in our factory.
In IFS Cloud:You can force a Manufacture lead time in the below tab ‘Lead Times and Supply Dates’ in ‘Inventory part’ BUT when a routing leadtime calc is run it will force overwrite your manually entered figure:
Hello Markus,Where are you looking for “Calculate Manufacturing Leadtime”. The manufacturing lead time in the inventory part is derived from the calculation “Calculate lead time for routing”. This is the case in IFS cloud anyway. You can overwrite this figure BUT if the calculation is re-run it will overwrite the figure manually entered.
Hi,I think you are looking at Lobby- Element designer in it’s first state, as in it hasn’t connected to a lobby with limited to no data assigned. At this point it is asking for the first building blocks and colour/ style will come later as you build through the lobby. From our experience in Cloud. Utilising existing lobbies, copying and then reviewing element designer is the fastest, most secure way of customising bespoke lobbies. Use the ‘toggle lobby toolbar’ button on an existing lobby. That will bring up this bar, where you can duplicate, then edit/ add/ delete elements Hope that is useful!Alex
