Did this get resolved? We are in 22R2 and looking to do an update to 23R1 (and shortly after, to 23R2).This is similar to an issue we are seeing on the “notes” pane on the posting proposal. It is starting to hide information from individuals entering AP invoices to individuals approving those invoices. Was going to submit this as an issue as it seems like a design flaw, but curious if there was any additional information on this.
We have check stock that we insert in the printer and print the report onto the check stock. The check stock we order from a vendor and it has the information we would struggle to get onto a report. We had to slightly modify the report output and it works just fine on a full check run. We’ve done this out of APPS10 and 22R2
We were running into a similar situation, after talking to more folks in our IT infrastructure team, it seemed like this could happen with ERP and physical printers, we changed the printer and it worked well. We implemented a process for changing printers to ensure the check template works appropriately. I’ll be interested to see if you find a different way to resolve this, as I agree, it is not ideal and not scalable.
I am not sure how PayPal works, but with CyberSource we can open up the portal and inspect what was passed into CyberSource from IFS along with what message the credit card processer passed back to IFS. We have found the IFS error messages are not as detailed with what is on the payment processor.
Are you saving the report to a trusted location on your machine? To designate a folder as a trusted location you need to open excel > File > Options > Trust Center. Try saving the report their and try executing it again.
Opened up a ticket with IFS on this, it was an Aurena issue and they delivered a fix.
