Hi @InfFilipV Did a quick check, seems like having the keyword “State” with in the Entity name “ CCsFinStatementGen” itself is the issue. So the code generator breaks the name using the keyword State. Seems like a bug in the code generator when having “State” keyword in the entity name while having a state transition with in the same entity model. Hi @InfFilipV Can you check whether you access and can download the “update.xml.gz” file? Using the external update URL( https://ifsdevtools.blob.core.windows.net/ifs-dev-tools-versions/ifsdeveloperstudio/updates/nb120/stable/updates.xml.gz) I was able to download the file and when I checked the downloaded xml file, modules were correctly updated with the correct version which is 8610.please refer to below attached image: Also I installed the Dev studio tool from the Portal and I got the correct tool version 22.1.8610 and didn't encounter any issues. /Harshini

Hi @MClarke Can you try out this: seems like it’s the same issue and this will help you. Downloading a fresh installer from Developer portal. Uninstall the tool if you have already installed 22.120 or a 22.1 version from your machine. After uninstalling make sure to follow the steps given in First close the tool if you have it opened. Delete the ”User Directory” content. Locate the directory using the following path, and delete the entire content inside “22.12” folder “C:\Users\hamalk\AppData\Roaming\DeveloperStudio\22.12” Download a fresh installer from Developer Portal, and reinstall the tool Tool should get installed without any issue now. Hi @Shou We created an internal User story to test the tool with Oracle JDK 14 in Japanese OS. Will do some tests and let you know the outcome. For the tool we have chosen Open JDK 14 as it was recommended by NetBeans 12 to use the latest version of Open JDK 14.(jdk-14.0.2_64bit). ThanksHarshini
Hi @StartStop Thanks for informing and glad to know that tool works fine in Windows 11. But still we have not officially confirmed as Developer Studio Tool works fine in Windows 11 as Rifki mentioned in above comments. We have tested the tool only in Windows 10 as mentioned in the Support policy document. Windows 11Certification is yet to be done. 22.1.8561 is the latest tool version available in Portal. So what you have is correct. But the installer, title shows as “IFS Developer Studio 22.120 Installer” which is incorrect and need to be changed. It’s a cosmetic bug and we will correct it soon. @JohannesKnust do you also have the same windows 11 version - (Windows 11 Pro - 21H2. ) or a different one? If it’s the same can you try once again by downloading a fresh installer from Developer portal. Uninstall the tool if you have already installed 22.120 or a 22.1 version from your machine. After uninstalling make sure to follow the steps given in Thanks Harshini
Hi @Shou As I mentioned in my previous comment, the latest Devstudio tool 22.1 is based on NetBeans 12 and it i’s compatible with JDK 14, and that is why we have packed the exe with latest JDK 14 which is tested and verified. So it’s unable for us to change the packed version in the tool.This issue is an incompatibility issue with Open JDK 14 and Japanese OS.Hope you will be able to try following workarounds to rectify the issue. I know you have already tried the 2nd option. and it works for you. Workarounds:Try out another JDK 14 version from a different vendor ( Oracle says their JDK14 supports different locales including Japanese : link ) - Try Oracle JDK 14. Change the OS language to English (which you have already tried and working) Best RegardsHarshini
Hi @Shou glad to see that you solved issue by changing the Windows UI language English from Japanese. Even though JDK 14 incompatibility issue in Japanese OS is solved in JDK version 16 as mentioned in https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8249215, we cannot change the JDK version in the latest tool as the latest tool(22.1) is based on NetBeans 12 and it i’s compatible with JDK 14. @GregoryB Can you check for updates in Help menu? If it doesn't work please clear the “Cache Directory” - C:\Users\hamalk\AppData\Roaming\DeveloperStudio\10.82\var\cache and see /Harshini
