We have recently upgraded from Metrix 5.3.3 to FSM 6.15. Now our previously fast manual addition of new task notes, or updates of existing task notes is taking a very long time. The best we get is 12 seconds, but this can exceed 20 seconds at times. Our investigations so far show now problem with Database speed so we are assuming the problem may be with the update of the user interface, but were not sure. has anyone else had similar issues and if so how were they resolved?
PSO wont commit to one specific job. all other jobs are being committed. one job sits at the front of an engineers timeline, allocated, but not committing. when another job eventually leapfrogs to the front of the line it commits. the job allocates to a resource, so there appears to be nothing wrong with the job. the engineer gets other jobs committing. when the job gets allocated to another engineer it sits with that engineer as allocated but wont commit again, blocking any other commit. does anyone have any ideas?
We have a user who is very sensitive to the purple colour, specifically the “Show” button and the tab hover colour, etc which dont change when the UI theme colour is changed. Is there anything that can be done to change all the colours on the forms? A screen filter has been supplied and monitor settings have all been changed for the user and still the specific purple is causing some extreme distress. Any help with this would be a great help, thank you.
We have just upgraded from Metrix 5.3.3 to FSM6.15. On the Stock screen the Quantities tab shows 0 quantities in stock locations that have stock in them, yet the Bins & Serials tab is showing the correct serial ids and the correct stock count in the Bin On Hand field. is there a way to show the correct Quantities in the Quantities tab also? Thank you in advance for any help with this
is it possible to change the FSM Metadata for task_text “Is Required” checkbox to un-checked because Ive tried in Studio and cant make that edit. Is there somewhere else I need to go to uncheck that box?
We have recently upgraded to FSM6 from Metrix5. in Metrix we added lines to the request description field (request.cust_prob_descr) using SQL Agent jobs, and started each added line with a CHAR(13) carriage return. in FSM we are unable to make changes to any other request field via the User Interface (desktop client) on any request where one of these lines with a carriage return has been added. On Save we get an FSM Error message on a pop-up with the statement:“Row(request_request, ([request_id])) was changed after it was selected. Reselect and try again.”If we remove the carriage return on Excel and reimport the description, or if we remove the carriage return with a sql update then we are able to modify the request again using the User Interface. Unfortunately we require the added information lines and the carriage returns in the description for our mobile application. Therefore we want to be able to make changes to any request field AND keep our char(13) in the description field.Any
while upgrading from 360 to PSO6 we are having trouble including certain column headers in the Resource tab of the Scheduling workspace, which we use in 360 Resource for grouping purposes. In 360 we can display the additional attribute “Shift Group” in the Resources tab of the Scheduling Workspace by adding “Shift Group” to the Resource Columns list. in PSO we can add the Additional Attribute “Additional_Attribute.Shift Group” to the Resources Column list but it still fails to show in the list of displayable column headers in the Resource tab of the Scheduling workspace. we have tried many different ways to get this column included now but have failed miserably. does anyone have any ideas? thank you for any assistance you can give me
for performing mass updates in FSM we need to set up columns according to the screenshot of the error message below:Unfortunately we cant find where to do this in studio. if anyone can assist I would be very grateful
we are upgrading from 360 to PSO6 and cant find how to add or delete private activities in the Scheduling Workspace as we can in 360. Are we correct in thinking that this is now something that has to be performed in the Planning Workspace in Planning/Resource/Unavailabilities, or are we still able to add the unavailbilities directly into the Scheduling Workspace?thank you for your help
In PSO 6 how do i add a filter, in scheduling resource view, that does not contain a word/phrase? Contains is a standard option but I need the inverse for my filter
